Our stay at The Tea Garden was the best experience we had in our trip to Sri Lanka. The house is located a few kilometres out of town amongst a tea plantation, which makes the property so serene -
besides the morning prayers from the Buddhist temple closeby, this too had surprisingly a calming impact to us. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Lahiru, our Host, delivered an exceptional service and was very accommodating to our needs. He also took me to a tea plantation tour and educated me on the history of tea. We wished we could've stayed longer at the cottage as this was the highlight of our overall trip!
