Kensington apartments

I was thrilled by the warmth, cleanliness and spaciousness of this property from the moment I walked in. The host, Vi, was always very helpful and communicative. The property is in a great location and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to London.

Very cute little flat in heart of South Kensington. Close to station, museum and pubs. Steep stairs if you have heavy bags and some taxis wont drop you on the street. There was some construction next door during the day, and a little noise from flat above. Fluffy towels, good washing maching, coffee machine and heating works well. On the downside only 2 pillows on each bed and no extra blankets, and one tea towel. Also netflix available but need to use own subscription which can a problem if travelling from overseas.Overall location outweighs all of the faults.

Within a 7 minute walk of Gloucester Road tube station on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow Airport and we were into our cosy comfortable London abode, relatively quickly after landing . Holly greeted us herself and gave us all the information to enable us to have a very pleasant week. We enjoyed dinner at nearby restaurants, purchased makings of dinner from nearby Waitrose and wine shops. A trip to the museums with afternoon tea at either Ampersand or Kensington Hotels was easily achieved. Other days we either caught the tube trains or caught the Number 14 red bus to central London destinations. Apart from the chilly weather which no one had any control of , everything was perfect. My wife and I stayed in the apartment for 4 weeks and found the accommodation very comfortable and within walking distance to the local shops, cafes and restaurants in Chelsea. Also an easy walk to either Earl's Court or Gloucester Road underground stations. The local streetscapes have beautifully detailed gardens and period terrace homes that are a pleasure to explore. For a long stay this apartment is more practical than a hotel.

Had a great stay. The property is in a great location very handy to transport etc yet extremely quiet. Carmen and her husband met us and gave us a brief run down about the property and area, which was lovely. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a two week stay. Really recommend this property.
