Florence cottage rentals

Having travelled extensively we can honestly say that our stay in Murlo cottage was one of our very best self-contained experiences ever. Marzio and his wife Elena are the very best hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them and Marzio had all the information at hand for us or knew how to find it out. The cottage was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a lovely stay. The staircase was a bit of a challenge at first but soon we were up and down it like mountain goats! The swimming pool was lovely, especially after a hot day sightseeing around Tuscany. The BBQ that we had as an added extra that Marzio and Elena catered was DELICIOUS and it was entertaining mixing with other guests. All in all our stay was perfect. Be prepared for a narrow unmade road for the last section before arrival, but if you drive according to the conditions it is not a problem at all. It is definitely well worth it. We will recommend this accommodation to anyone we hear is travelling to Tuscany.

Our family spent 4 nights at this beautiful villa. We all thought it luxuriously fitted out. Tasteful bedrooms, lovely sheets, plenty of crockery and cutlery and, most importantly, coffee! The pool was a godsend as the summer days were very hot. We loved it. We did not have a car (our choice) so organised transfers to wineries easily. Food can be delivered which is fabulous. Nice getaway, relaxing in nature. Wifi went down in the neighbourhood for the duration of our stay but was communicated right away. To make your stay even better, a car is suggested as property is about 30min walk from public transport. Overall, property was how described
