Absolutely loved it, the location, the cleaness and high quality of everything in the house from kitchen to bathroom and bedrooms. The host was very helpful in accomodating everything I needed. I definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to getaway.

Great spot. Very quiet and peaceful

Place was very private, complete with kangaroos, wombats and birds and the odd cow down in the paddock. Got amazing views and stary nights by the camp fire without the need to camp. The tiny home was a real novelty and super comfy. There is also an old log cabin next door to use if you want something a bit more rustic to hangout in, conplete with an indoor fire place. Will definitely come back.

Liz is the perfect host, Informative, welcoming and responsive. My partner and i spent the night and had a brilliant stay in Berry. The cabin was warm and homely. The property and surroundings are quiet, serene and private. It’s the perfect stay for any couple. We’d definitely stay again.

The settlers cottage is like living in a museum tableau which is great fun. Having said that it has all the mod cons you want – TV, air conditioning, fridge and microwave etc. But frankly, who needs it, just bring a stack of books. a couple of bottles of wine, some bread and cheeses and move around from east to west from front veranda to back porch and enjoy your stay. Say hi to the friendly little lizards under the front steps and the bull in the back paddock.

Everything about Springview Retreat is simply delightful. The hosts have put such care into every detail to create a haven that makes the most of its picture perfect location.

We are so grateful to have discovered this tranquil country getaway - so peaceful and relaxing, with everything we needed for our special anniversary. The beautifully crafted stone and timber cottage had a fireplace with lots of wood supplied, a very well equipped kitchen, a huge claw-foot bath with heated bathroom floors, and a spacious bedroom upstairs with its own little balcony in the sunshine to relax on all afternoon. The lovely bird songs coming from the surrounding forests provided a wonderful backdrop to the peace and quiet we enjoyed during our stay. Our lovely host has created a very special little sanctuary there - easy to get to but felt so far away and private ... we will return : )

We arrived at Saddleback Cottage and WOW! The location is breathtaking. We stood outside and admired the view for ages. Then we went inside. WOW again. So beautiful. An absolute gem of a cabin in the most beautiful location, looking across beautiful green paddocks to the ocean. The supplied bread, eggs, cheese, crackers and wine topped it off. So quiet, no interruptions, just beautiful. Plenty of areas to explore and so close to everything, 10 minute drive to Gerringong or Berry. Thanks to Bridget for providing a beautiful place for our relaxing escape. We will be back again.
