Lovely house and view and really well stocked eith everything you could need for a short stay. Cosy and warm for our winter getaway with friends. It was great to be able to take our dog too.
Thoughtfully appointed holiday home, lovely neighbor, welcomed with a warm fire. Very dog friendly. Note to future dog visitors they cannot go up Mt buller and Stirling, there is not really any snow where doggies can visit unless it has been falling below 750m above sea level.
House is well appointed, heater, air conditioned, big yard for dogs, nice kitchen, short walk to the heart of town. Has wifi and Foxtel if you want to just chill. Front yard is big enough for a boat and easy to load and offload into the boat from the verandah. lExcellent place to stay.
This property is beautiful. We so enjoyed the big deck with the view of the lake. And the a/c inside was essential owing to a very hot weekend. Everything you could possibly need has been thought of except for a reading lamp in the downstairs double bedroom
We loved our stay, the host was very accommodating and communicated with us before and before our arrival with clear instructions on getting there, things to do and self self-check-in in process. We had everything except the marshmallows to toast on the fire. Being city slickers we had no idea how to start a fire, luckily our host was at hand to start it for us.It's on a big enough property that our schnauzer enjoyed walking around freely but kept her on a leash most of the time. Thanks so much Paul and Cathy
Our stay at Kevington House for a week in the bush was nothing short of spectacular. Surrounded by the pristine beauty of the Australian wilderness, the experience was both rejuvenating and enriching. The house itself was a delightful blend of comfort and rustic charm. It was well-equipped with all the modern amenities we needed while retaining a cozy, homely feel. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable – a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the living area was a great space for relaxation, with large windows offering stunning views of the bush. The location is simply unbeatable for nature lovers. Nestled deep in the bush, the tranquility and serenity were exactly what we were looking for. We were fortunate enough to witness a variety of wildlife right from the comfort of the house with a myriad of bird species. There was no shortage of activities to keep us entertained. From bushwalking and exploring the local trails to stargazing at night, every moment was filled with wonder. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for adventure, and we particularly enjoyed the nearby river.
Very spacious house with beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed the open plan living space and the inclusions/amenities. The outside environment was refreshing and provided great space for a bbq.
We enjoyed our stay. A hiccup with the listing on Stayz re our dog but Jamie was very accommodating and we could bring him. So grateful.
The park had a great family, friends vibe. Will definitely go back
