Excellent and clean apartment within walking distance to Elwood main street and beach. We would book here again.

Looking to visit Melbourne, this property is right near st kilda road for easy access. Quiet, neat and clean. Recommended. Julie

The apartment was beautiful, clean and attractively furnished. We enjoyed walking around the interesting neighbourhood discovering hidden gems and sitting in the sun in the park. Lunch from the Japanese restaurant in Middle Brighton was delicious.

Enchanting capacious old house that easily accommodated a large extended family group of 4 separate adults and two primary school age children. In very cold weather, the heating was excellent/cosy. For such a large number of bedrooms (6), this house is short of bathrooms, having only one main bathroom (no bath), and one small ensuite bathroom attached to one of the bedrooms that had a king size bed. Good kitchen, great backyard for children to kick a soccer ball around. Fabulous and interesting art work throughout the house. Great location for walking around Elwood and St Kilda, particularly close access to the beach and St Kilda Botanic Gardens. Also easy access to city trams on Brighton Road. Local supermarket just a short walk away. Would definitely book this dear old property again, and would be great in any weather/season.

The apartment is Well equipped and organised. It’s location is close to the beach and entertainment areas. The trams are close by and take you easily to melbourne cbd and markets. We recommend it very much to travellers wanting an enjoyable time in melbourne.

Well located and property matched description. However there is no parking, all street parking and very difficult to find a spot at night.When we arrived we found the aircon had been set at 16c by the previous occupant and it did not cool the lounge area. Bedrooms were OK. Upon inspection it appeared as if the main unit had not been serviced for a very long time, filters were clogged with leaves and debris. Also needs a regas. Contacted Property Manager who was suggesting that we were not operating it correctly. Took 3 emails before service person arrived, then it still did not work properly. The service man set it at 20c, however it did not cool enough, so it was back to 16c. Still unable to cool room.Upon reflection it appears as if the unit is simply too small to cool the large lounge/TV room as well as lack of service.Lounge suite was covered in a white fabric which is totally unsuitable for a rental as it was dirty and discoloured. Not a good look.Shower upstairs had only a very small shower head and was in the bath, so difficult to get in and out of.Other than that property met all expectations. For the price we considered it expensive when everything was not perfect.

Sadly communication really let this experience down. From paying to check in I had to chase up every step of the way. With 2 hours to go I still had no idea how to access the property and no response through the App so numerous phone calls later it was finally resolved. Garbage was overflowing on arrival and stank, no response from the owners again over this issue. The property also needs a lot of maintenance to bring it up to scratch considering the prices charged. We enjoyed our stay but it could have been so much better.
