The seaside town of Dunsborough lies on the western coast of Australia. Overlooking the Geographe Bay, the town is full of sheltered coves, surfing and swimming spots and walking trails where you can watch a pod of dolphins as they play in the clear water. Visit the Margaret River
When travelling with family, especially young kids, the first place to visit is the Margaret River Chocolate Factory. Nestled between Dunsborough and the Margaret River, they also offer free chocolate tasting to guests. Here you can also buy the perfect souvenirs for friends back home, with plenty of chocolates to choose from such as handmade truffles, chocolate bars and chocolate coated delights.
The Blackwood River is also a favourable place if you are looking forward to swimming or kayaking.
Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse
This charming lighthouse has a history of over 100 years. Built from stone that was quarried from the Bunker Bay, the lighthouse is a popular tourist attraction. There are a couple of whale watching spots and even a seal colony near the lighthouse that cannot be missed.
