Apartment in villa with garden, near the sea

The review left by these guests does not reflect at all what happened during their stay. Mr. Piotr and his friends arrived on August 29th without a car, neither their own nor for hire; not being independent in the movements they asked us the possibility to take possession of the house three hours before what was foreseen at the time of booking. In keeping with our welcoming spirit that leads us to treat our guests as friends, we naturally agreed. The moment they arrived we found ourselves in front of four apparently non-lucid adults who, as soon as they entered the house, instead of following the presentation of the services and the rules of the house, started going around in a confused way by opening windows without asking for any authorization and thus causing the breakthrough of a mosquito net. No excuse followed the event. We asked HomeAway what to do and how to behave and we were told that the guests who caused them had to respond. We therefore informed guests of what HomeAway said and in return we received explicit threats that, if we continued with these requests of refund for the damage, they would publish negative reviews, which indeed they later did. Later they complained about the presence of dogs in the next property (not ours) saying they could not sleep. Considering the fact that none of the previous guests ever complained (see other reviews) and that the dogs were not our property, we also found out that Piotr and his friends made verses from the balcony of the apartment even at night (meow etc.) in order to make dogs voluntarily bark. To avoid further discussion the owner of the dogs has kindly brought the dogs home for the duration of our guests' stay. Also the complaint about the fact that the current jumped is completely biased because, during the presentation of the house, it was pointed out that certain appliances cannot be used simultaneously for the limit of electricity absorption from the network, that in Italy is of 3 kW. It is clear that not having followed these indications and using what was supplied in a senseless manner, the current was leaking due to excess load. Nothing was defective and malfunctioning since all the equipment is new. Even the problem of flooding the house was caused by their carelessness (voluntary or accidental we are not able to know). What we do know is that a strong thunderstorm was expected that day with weather warnings throughout southern Sardinia. Despite the evident approaching storm, the guests kept the windows open. Shortly after the arrival of the storm, which occurred with non-ordinary violence, we were called because the room was flooded. The intervention was immediate and, in a short time, everything was back in place. We were also thanked by the guests and, on that occasion, they apologized for the provocative attitudes of the days before. As far as Wi-Fi is concerned, this is offered free at no extra charge and, unfortunately, as was explained on time, in that period there was a disservice on the line, due to bad weather, of which the connectivity supplier was informed. But this was not an aspect that we could control and / or foresee. Not wanting to dwell on the towel discussion (it is known that before leaving the apartment you should check that nothing is missing) what Piotr and his friends left behind at the end of the holiday it was a house reduced to a dump, dirty , full of bottles everywhere, even in the fence of the garden, in spite of any rule of education as well as environmental respect (in the house were obviously available specific containers for recycling with the rules and timing of withdrawal, but their use was for Piotr and friends too tiring). I can only conclude by saying that this experience was very bad for us, never had such uncivilized guests, to the point that we decided to change the booking rules to avoid guests who, like Piotr, had no reviews and to safeguard the house which, as reported in the other reviews, all 5-star, is a gem.

Roberto e Barbara, insieme ai loro figli Giulia e Filippo, sono stati ospiti gradevolissimi, simpatici e solari. La loro presenza è stata davvero piacevole e hanno dimostrato un assoluto rispetto della casa. Speriamo davvero di riaverli ancora come nostri ospiti e siamo sicuri che, chiunque avrà l’occasione di conoscerli, verrà conquistato dalla loro simpatia. A presto!

Igor and his family have been pleasant and discreet guests, very respectful of the house and interested in learning about local traditions and flavors. Even the language was not an obstacle thanks to their desire to communicate using any useful tool. We are happy to have met them and we hope to have them again, in the future, as our guests.

I giorni trascorsi in compagnia di Giulio, Debora, il piccolo Edoardo e nonna Liliana sono stati giorni caratterizzati da allegria e spensieratezza. La loro solarità ha fatto si che i giorni di vacanza si trasformassero in grandi “reunion” all’aperto, in giardino, passati a chiaccherare delle giornate trascorse davanti ad un gelato o ad una bibita. Il rapporto si è trasformato presto in amicizia. Salutiamo la loro partenza con nostalgia e con la speranza di rivederli presto. Hanno usato ogni spazio con il massimo del rispetto. Li consigliamo vivamente! Saranno un arricchimento per chiunque li avrà come ospiti.
