Korakias retreat is set in 5000 sq. meters of organically managed land. The setting is without doubt one of the most beautiful on Lefkada, leading to a small beach in a sheltered bay, where you can moor your own hired boat on the private jetty. From the property there are breathtaking views across the sea to the tiny islands of Skorpios and Sparti, both formely owned by Onassis's granddaughter (and now by Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev), and to Meganisi, the island left behind by time.
The accommodation at Korakias seaside retreat consists of 2 spacious apartments (85 sq. meters each) set in a villa, separated from the two other villas by gardens, patios, open areas and parking spaces. The villa has been positioned to take advantage of the magnificent views as well as to maximize the privacy of each apartment and is ideal for those who seek relaxation, tranquility and comfort. As well as being next to the sea, there is a swimming pool with a comfortable sunbathing deck. Depths of the pool range from 0.80 m to 1.80 m.
Olive consists of the entire upper floor (85 sq.m.) of the villa on the left hand side (when looking towards the sea). It has a very large and airy living/dining room, with an open plan fitted kitchen (with full cooking facilities), furnished with a sofa, 2 easy chairs and a dining table with 6 chairs. A double bedroom with French windows open onto a side balcony and a twin bedroom with private balcony to the other side, both with side sea views. Family bathroom with bath/shower. All the rooms have large wooden French windows as well as windows with double panes and screens. Throughout Olive the decor is mainly white. Two tents in the front and one in the master bedroom provides shade on the balcony and the patio furniture (a large extendable table with 6 comfortable chairs). All rooms have air conditioning. Olive, together with the other apartments, is sharing a tiled terrace surrounding the swimming pool for all the guest to use, sunbeds, sun umbrellas, 2 WCs and 1 shower.

A wonderful house in a wonderful location

Last summer I spent two weeks holiday at Eleni's house in Geni. I can easily say that it was the most exiting experience I had in Greece (my favourite place to spend my summer holidays): Olive apartment is highly comfortable and has an amazing view of the sea and the eastern islands (Skorpios). Last but not least, Eleni and her friends welcomed and managed us in a frendly and careful way. If you are planning to go there, just check that the height from the ground of your car, or the one you are going to rent, allows you to run a country road safely; you do not need a 4x4: a car van like a Berlingo or Fiorino will be ok. Enjoy your stay there!

A place where your holiday becomes a dream

Korakias is a place where you can really relax and do what you mostly like. Eleni and Tilemaco will take care of your needs and will make you feeling at home. You can stay at the villa with a wonderfull view of Skorpios island from your apartament or from the swimming pool. If you have a boat then you can really enjoy to have your boat parked in the private harbour and take it to visit places that without a boat you can not see or just use the boat to go to Nidri for a walk or to buy fish. If you like to go outside for dinner then there are many places that you can reach in a very short time, where local people also go and where you can have excellent food at a more than reasonable price. The road form Korakias to the Geni will seem just part of the landscape and going back to Korakias in the night is quite easy to meet foxes. It is 4 years that I go to Korakias with my family bringing our our boat from Italy and the long trip that we have to do to reach the place is fully compensated by the pleasant time spent over there an by the warm accolience of Eleni and Tilemaco.

A place well suited for a wonderful holiday

We stayed for 6 nights at Korakias, a group of 4, traveling with a compact car and it was a very very nice experience: - the view was fantastic. We stayed on Olive apartment (if I remember well the name), at the first floor and from our terrace we saw every day dozens of small boats and a group of 3 very small forested islands - Elena is a very nice person, we found at the arrival some food + fruits + wine in the fridge. She was always available and wanting help. - we liked very much the fact that the villa is isolated - the pool is great, very big, suitable if you do not know very well to swim - you can go and swim also in the sea, only 30-40 steps away from the pool Regarding the road from Geni to Korakias, first time was not so pleasant but if you don't drive a sport car it will be fine.
