Newton Cottage South is full of history, character and charm, built around 1850 in the picturesque village of Newtown, Inveraray offering breathtaking loch views, perfect for a romantic retreat or a family holiday.
Interior
The seaside cottage is beautifully restored with quality furnishings and tasteful interior, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. Featuring a comfortable open plan living area with solid wooden floors, a small dining area and French doors leading out to the back garden. The modern kitchen is fully equipped.
Upstairs features two inviting double bedrooms and a family bathroom. The main bedroom boasts of spectacular loch views, imagine waking up to magical views each morning from your cosy comfortable bed. The bedrooms are stylishly decorated, ideal for a romantic retreat. The modern bathroom features a separate shower cubicle, basin and toilet.
Newton Cottage South has a sister cottage next door called Newton Cottage North which can also be rented. When combined they both sleep 8 persons comfortably. Ideal for larger parties.

Slip back in time and feel the history. Newton Cottage South is a C Listed Building in the Conservation Area of Newtown Inveraray. The house was built between 1800 – 1850. The owner bought the house in 2013. The previous owner was the Duke of Argyll. The owner has been visiting family in Inveraray since 1955. The Buntain name has been traced back to the 12th Century in the town. The owner was the nephew of the only Lady Provost of Inveraray, Helen Buntain. The family business was blacksmiths coal merchants and haulage contractors.
