Luxury modern penthouse apartment 3 bed/2 bath (sleeps up to 5 people), situated in a lovely residential area (The Pines) in La Azohia village on the Costa Calida. The property is modern and spacious making it an ideal holiday home for families and couples.

The apartment is situated on the first floor which is accessed by stairs and a separate lockable gate for extra security. There is a large balcony/terrace at the front with an awning, ideal for dining and sitting out. Additional steps lead up to the large upper solarium where you will find sunbeds, BBQ and Pergola for sun protection with table and chairs so you can dine alfresco surrounded by the breathtaking elevated views of the mountains and sea, this is a great place to watch the sunset.

The entrance door leads into the large open plan living space, which has two sofas, dining table, chairs and TV. There is a good sized modern fitted kitchen with white goods and appliances (tall fridge/freezer, oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher). The corridor leads to the main bathroom with basin, shower and toilet and the three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large bed and ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. The second double bedroom is a good size with two twin beds, the third bedroom has a single bed. All bedrooms have ample wardrobe and storage space. Aircon is in the main bedroom and living room.

There is a large flat screen Smart TV with Netflix and local Spanish TV. A DVD player with a selection of movies and Bluetooth speaker for your music is available (speaker must not be taken out of the apartment). Free WiFi is also included.

A secure communal pool is at the back of the property accessed by a key for residents use only. Parking is available at the property.

The apartment is situated in a quiet residential area away from any busy roads, but close enough to the beach and sea, which is a short 5 minute walk (at the bottom of our road). There are mountain views on one side and the sea on the other. The local amenities, bars, restaurants, cafes, pharmacy and local supermarket are also within walking distance. There are 5 beach bars in the village spread out along the coastline that stay open for most of the year (closed January to March). In high season there are water sports available and local fiestas. La Azohia is famous for locally caught fish and magnificent sunsets, which you can fully appreciate at either the local traditional Spanish restaurants and bars or on the roof terrace or balcony of the apartment.

Car hire is highly recommended to fully appreciate and explore this beautiful area. There is a limited bus service from the village of La Azohia that takes you to either Puerto de Mazarrón or Cartagena. In the summer months there is a local tourist train that runs in the port.
