Exclusive Villa with pool, panoramic sea & mountain views
This exclusive modern villa is located in the Spanish village of Isla Plana. In the high season, it gets very lively, but still retains the advantage of not being overcrowded. Although a small village, Isla Plana is very well served with a supermarket, ATM, tobacconist, fishmonger, kiosk, hardware store, veterinarian, bakery, bank, small clinic, pharmacy, cafes and restaurants. All these amenities and the nearest beach from the villa are 15 and 8 minutes' walking distance respectively. In addition, large sandy beaches are to be found in Puerto Mazarron less than a 10-minute drive away.
The villa has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms on the ground floor (one of them ensuite) and on the first floor a self-contained apartment with a double bedroom. Outdoors you will find the south-east-facing garden, the private pool with an outdoor shower and toilet, and a BBQ pit. Regardless of the weather, the covered terrace offers the possibility to stay or dine outdoors at any time. From the terrace and the solarium (on the roof) the villa offers a magnificent view of the sea and the mountains. The location of the garden with pool offers plenty of sun for most of the day. If it gets too sunny, you could retreat to the adjacent shaded terrace, which is equipped with remote-controlled ceiling fans. The walled solarium provides privacy while sunbathing or simply relaxing with panoramic views of the sea and mountains. The evenings on the solarium are especially pleasant, with a great view of the illuminated, glittering coast of the neighbouring village of La Azohia. Parking is off-road within the property premises and with a remote-controlled electric gate.
The living/dining areas and all bedrooms have individually controlled air conditioning cooling and heating functions. The villa is fully equipped with Fibre-Optic Wi-Fi (600 Mbps) and modern electrical appliances viz. 3x smart TVs with British, German, Spanish, and other international programs, a DVD player & Hi-Fi. Furthermore, a well-equipped kitchen with appliances such as fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, ceramic stove, oven, microwave, electric mixer, baking utensils, etc.

The villa is favourably located. To the town of Mazarron (7 km) and its sister town of Puerto de Mazarron (3 km) it only takes a few minutes by car. Puerto de Mazarron (port of Mazarron) boasts a marina and numerous restaurants offering local and international cuisine. Both towns offer a range of shops, supermarkets, sporting, cultural and service facilities. A short distance from Mazarrón are several golf courses to be found. Cartagena (26 km) - a historic naval port. Murcia (68 km) is the historic capital with Moorish charms. Sierra Espuna (57 km) is a national park offering great walking trails through forests and hills. Many other destinations further afield into the other „Costas“ are possible as day trips or in combination with overnight stays.

Situated on the Mediterranean coast, Costa Calida ("warm coast") offers beaches of fine sand and fine gravel and is an alternative of a healthy lifestyle spoiled with beautiful EEC certified Blue Flag beaches, unpolluted sea, clean air and fresh food. Away from the coast towards the inland you may visit several towns which still preserve their medieval charm and infrastructure. The town of Mazarron, about 7 km away from Isla Plana, is a small Spanish town. Situated in the province of Murcia this town offers amenities which include fresh produce markets, banks, medical facilities, shops etc. Thanks to its location in a bay, the beaches around Mazarron are protected from the cool currents of the Atlantic where water temperatures are about 5°C warmer than in the open Mediterranean resulting in a very pleasant micro-climate with relative mild winters. A 10-minute drive away from here you will arrive at its pretty little seafront sister, Puerto de Mazarron (3 km away from Isla Plana). Here you will find a harbour and marina, long stretches of sandy “Playas" (beaches) alongside the promenade, numerous bars and restaurants. Typical local cuisine includes stews, salads, roasted and grilled meat, pastas, rice and, of course, great sea-food. Do not forget to try the regional wines which are very fairly priced and are of high quality.
