The house that now houses the b & b "Antica Dimora La Portazza" saw the light at the end of the eighteenth century and over time has gradually expanded the original structure enriching itself with nineteenth-century elements until it reached its current appearance at the beginning of the twentieth century, adorned with liberty elements, typical of the last century. Recently renovated, it has found its ancient splendor in a typically Sicilian multifaceted harmony. The ancient Dimora La Portazza, together with the already existing baglio "La Portazza resort", thus brings to light the original idea of the estate, as desired by our ancestors. The house, which belonged to the historic Montalto family, has always been conceived as a meeting place and communion for the parent who spent the summer season of the crops and the harvest here, feasting and passing on family traditions. This memory is still kept alive by our family today with the desire to share it with our guests.
