Embleton beach offers a wide expanse of golden sands, and Beadnell Bay, very popular with water sports enthusiasts, is only 5 miles from Little Barn Tynely Farm. A further couple of miles up the coastline brings you to Seahouses where there are tea rooms, shops and a choice of restaurants. Boat trips to the Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony, depart regularly from its harbour. A further 3 miles north is the picture-perfect village of Bamburgh, dominated by its majestic fortress. Holy Island can be seen from the unspoilt golden sandy beach. Travelling 7 miles inland from Little Barn Tynely Farm is the market town of Alnwick where there is a wide choice of facilities available. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is well worth a visit. Tynely is a small hamlet situated about a mile east of the A1, giving easy access to explore this stunning part of north Northumberland and the Scottish Borders too. Beach 4 miles.
