About this property

Riata house for 8 people

The house is located in Mombeltrán, historic stately town with castle of the Dukes of Alburquerque, on the southern slope of the Sierra de Gredos. It is an old stone farmhouse rehabilitated, with a careful and personal interior decoration, whose furniture and furnishings have been mostly restored by the owner.

Its location on the edge of the urban area and isolated within a farm allows us to enjoy the privacy and tranquility necessary for rest while being close to the town for visits or shopping. From the house we can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of this valley of Gredos. A true vergel for its particular microclimate.

The house has only one floor, the upper floor being an uninhabited attic. It has ample outdoor space for games and recreation, being the part of lawn garden and barbecue more private and collected. It is in this area where the pool-relax with waterfall, jets, bubbles and chromotherapy is located.

The enclosure borders the Municipal Pool, from which only the pedestrian access street separates it

A great stay!

Maite’s house was the perfect base to explore the valley. It exceeded our expectations and Maite was a great host, very communicative and with lots of tips. The kids were able to be independent, playing outside in the garden or at the football field next door.

La única pena fue que tuvimos un incidente con el coche y sólo pudimos acudir una de las dos parejas. Pero la casa era perfecta para 2 matrimonios y 4 niños. El tiempo, un poquito nublado pero la casa tiene que tener su encanto también en verano. En fin, estupenda y la lástima no poder haberla aprovechado a tope

Hemos pasado el fin de semana un grupo de amigas y decir que nos ha gustado la casa es quedarnos cortas. Todo estupendo, la casa muy acogedora aunque lo que realmente nos ha gustado ha sido la zona de jardin y la piscina que es donde hemos pasado la mayor parte del tiempo. Nos hubiera gustado volver el próximo año pero ya nos dijo Mayte (la casera, que es muy simpática) que la fecha que queríamos estaba ocupada. Esperamos volver otra vez si hay posibilidad. La recomendamos 100x100
