Fantastic house

The stay was absolutely fantastic, and the house is a lot nicer in real life than what the pictures will let you know. Rose was very helpful and kind with all questions I had. I very highly recommend this if you are looking for a quiet place with a view and a pool.

Mi familia y yo pasamos el fin de semana pasado en La Mogorra. Todo fue perfecto. La casa es preciosa, no le falta detalle, muy bien equipada y cerca del pueblo. El entorno precioso, muy tranquilo. El trato con los propietarios fue muy cordial, muy atentos. Sin duda, nos volvimos pensando ya en repetir.

Perfect accommodation for a family holiday

We were 8 in all, 4 adults and 4 children. The property was excellent and provided sunny and shady areas.. We all enjoyed the pool.. and every convenience was provided. The house is set in its own grounds and is quiet away from main roads and is so safe for children with plenty of space to run around. The owner's were very kind and we were not short of anything. We enjoyed meals on the patio, and were able to visit interesting places in the local surrounds, as well as a further visits to Toledo and Avila. A splendid country house as the description says.

Escapada perfecta

Hemos disfrutado de esta maravilla de lugar una familia de 6 adultos y 2 niños. La experiencia ha sido inmejorable y sin duda repetiremos. El interior de la casa es muy amplio, con diferentes ambientes, todo perfectamente equipado, cuidado al detalle y limpio. El exterior es simplemente idílico (zona de barbacoa, porche con sombra y vistas, piscina, césped...). Gracias Rosa por todo.

Fin de semana maravilloso

Hemos estado un grupo de 9 personas en 15/6/18 durante un finde que ha sido maravilloso, nada más llegar ya te sorprende el acceso hacia la casa, es un camino con bastante cuesta y estrecho. cuando llegas la casa está sola sin molestias de nada. Nos recibieron los propietarios que no pueden ser más amables. La casa es una maravilla, muy confortable, todo en una planta, limpísimo, en absoluto silencio, con piscina y césped cuidadisimo, la cocina está perfectamente equipada con todo tipo de utensilios. Nos ha encantado, repetiremos sin lugar a dudas. 100% recomendable. Muchas gracias por todo Rosa.

CASA 5 ESTRELLAS PARA LAS 4 ESTACIONES

Después de haber pasado un puente en la Mogorra hemos tenido la misma tentación que impulsa a los cogedores de setas a no revelar dónde las cogen: guardárnosla para nosotros y no alabar sus virtudes. Pero Rosa y Gabriel son tan atentos y solícitos que no se lo merecen. Se ve la mano de ambos tanto en el interior (bien distribuida, notablemente equipada, acogedora, amueblada sin ser cargante, decorada con gusto, amplia..) y el exterior (bien orientada, vistas impresionantes al valle del Tiétar y a Gredos...). No sabíamos si estar fuera o dentro, un equilibrio que hace de la Mogorra un conjunto excepcional para pasar unos días tranquilos con la familia y amigos en cualquiera de las cuatro estaciones del año (¡cómo tiene que ser un atardecer de verano en ese porche!). Si La Mogorra hubiera existido en el S. XVI, seguro que Carlos V no hubiera elegido Yuste...

une semaine magnifique.

Avant de parler de la maison. Un mot sur Rosa et Gabriel. Ce sont des personnes d une grande gentillesse qui savent recevoir. Rosa nous avait envoyé les activités autour de candeleda ainsi que le chemin pour trouver et Gabriel nous avait concocté une sangria en guise de bienvenue...excellente. La villa est magnifique, très bien entretenue offrant .toutes les commodités. Nous la recommendons vivement. Malgré la période nous n avons pas souffert de la chaleur. Nous avons découvert une belle région avec des gens charmants.

Bestial!!

La casa es bestial, la mejor en la que hemos estado con muchísima diferencia. El lugar magnífico con unas vistas increíbles sobre todo el valle. Tienes todas las facilidades y comodidades del mundo, chimenea, parrilla,... incluso un huertecito y algunos frutales de los que puedes coger alguna cosilla (si es época). Lástima que fuimos en invierno y no pudimos disfrutar la piscina. Todo estaba en perfecto orden, limpio y las habitaciones amplias y chulas. Los dueños de la casa son gente estupenda. Tuvieron una actitud extraordinaria, en todo momento se mostraron abiertos a ​satisfacer nuestras necesidades y preocupándose de nosotros durante todo el fin de semana. Gente realmente con la que puedes estar tranquilo de vacaciones. Volveremos seguro porque la casa, el entorno y los hospedadores lo merecen y lo pasamos estupendamente!!

Une belle maison à vivre en famille ou entre amis

Nous étions 12 et avons passé une délicieux séjour dans la maison de Maria Rosa et son mari. Nous n'y avons pas souffert de la chaleur car, tous les jours, dans l'après-midi, arrivait un petit vent de la montagne qui tempérait l'ardeur du soleil. La maison est agréable à vivre (de plain pied), très bien équipée (bonne literie, moustiquaires aux fenêtres et ventilation facile de la maison, 2 réfrigérateurs/congélateurs, vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine en nombre largement suffisant) et très bien située aussi bien pour randonner dans la Sierra de Gredos que pour visiter les villes historiques de Tolède (1H30), Ségovie (2H), Salamanque (2H30), Cacerès (1H30) ou bien Madrid (2H30). Il y a aussi des lieux d'intérêt culturel (voie romaine, abbaye de Yuste, ville d'Oropesa,...) à environ 30 minutes de route. La piscine a une forme originale et permet de nager et plonger et même de boire l'apéro assis sur un banc dans l'eau... Elle offre une vue sur les champs d'oliviers, la plaine et les Monts de Tolède au loin. L'aire de pelouse grasse et verte invite au farniente sur les relax mis à disposition. La terrasse couverte permet de manger à 12 sans souci. Le barbecue fume un peu mais cela doit être arrangé. La gentillesse et la disponibilité de Maria Rosa et de son mari sont à la mesure de l'accueil chaleureux qu'ils nous avaient réservé : sangria et spécialités locales. Ils nous ont aussi permis d'utiliser leur potager ; nous avons ainsi mangé de délicieuses salades tout au long de notre séjour. La ville de Candeleda est à 3 minutes en voiture et à 10 minutes à pied ; on peut y faire ses courses facilement (plusieurs petits supermarchés dont un Coviran qui a un très bon jambon...). Elle est peu touristique malgré le charme des rues et ruelles de la vieille ville. Près de la bibliothèque municipale, se trouve un bar où les "borras" (gros churros) sont exquises. Seul petit bémol à tous ces points positifs : il n'y a pas le Wifi mais est-ce grave ? Et qui sait s'il n'y sera pas remédié d'ici l'année prochaine ? On l'aura compris... Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour et recommandons chaudement cette maison.
