The Quinta de Pindela is a property located in the district of Braga, occupying, with its approximately 80 hectares, the totality of a valley in the village of S. Tiago da Cruz, 5 km from Vila Nova de Famalicão.

It is a typically minhota farm, with organic farming, surrounded by a vast forest with rare and centenarian trees, which serves as habitat for several species of Mediterranean fauna.

The Quinta de Pindela welcomes its guests in its old manor houses - typical small farming houses with thick granite walls, but now restored and decorated with every comfort and convenience. Here, our guests can enjoy total privacy in an environment of calm and tranquility.

Hidden gem!

My husband and I spent a wonderful 4 days at Maria's place. She was the best host, welcoming, attentive, and caring. The best place, cozy and comfortable you can find around. Located within a short drive from many points of interest in Northern Portugal. We would highly recommend staying at this place!

We loved the cottage. Unfortunately it was rainy and cold so no swimming in the really cool pool. But we enjoyed coming back after a long day of sightseeing and getting cozy. Marie was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely recommend it to friends and family’

Het huis ligt op een fantastische plek in de natuur. Porto en Braga makkelijk bereikbaar. Huisje is schoon en gastvrouw vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik wil het 4.5 sterren geven. Maar in de keuken misten wat dingen, zoals een grote koekenpan, saladeschaal en schaar. Ook zou het dekbed en de kussens vervangen mogen worden. Maar dat neemt niet weg dat het een heerlijk verblijslf was. Het zwembad is een dikke 10.

La quinta dans la nature

La maison typique portugaise toute en pierre, au milieu d'une nature luxuriante et dans le calme absolu a été le cadre idéal pour les promenades avec notre petit chihuahua. Dommage pour la météo capricieuse de ce mois de juin qui ne nous a pas permis de profiter davantage de la piscine atypique et parfaitement intégrée au décors. Merci à Maria pour sa disponibilité et sa course affolée après notre chien évadé et à José pour ses précieux conseils sur le choix du Porto.

Emplacement et maison superbes

Maison louée pour 3 jours comme point de chute autour de Porto. Très belles balades à faire à travers les champs de fruits et la forêt d’eucalyptus en face. La maison est très belle et très proche de la gare de Mouquin qui vous permettra d’aller à Braga, Porto ou Coumba en un clin d’œil. On vous la recommande.

Absolute beauty and tranquility

We loved our stay at Maria's place. The property is very beautiful and tranquil; we fell asleep to the sound of crickets and awoke to birds singing each morning. We spent many an afternoon taking walks in the woods right behind the house, where you can walk for a long time and enjoy absolute peace in nature. The house is simple and tasteful and comfortable and nights were cozy, sitting in front of the fireplace and having a glass of wine. Maria was the kindest and most accommodating host. She went out of her way to be helpful and we are happy to have met her.

Férias maravilhosas!

Passámos uma semana de férias, em família, na casa da Bouça. A casa foi restaurada com muito bom gosto, é confortável e está equipada com tudo o que é preciso. Tanto a casa como o jardim estavam impecavelmente limpos e cuidados. Recomendo a Quinta de Pindela para quem procura passar férias em absoluta paz e tranquilidade, envolvidos pela natureza, mas também para quem quer descobrir esta região de Portugal. A Quinta está muito bem situada: a um passo do Porto, Guimarães, Braga, Barcelos... Foi muito bom visitar estas cidades e, à tarde, regressar para uns banhos de piscina e de sol. Toda a envolvente da casa é lindíssima e é tudo mais bonito ao vivo, do que nas fotos. O jardim e a piscina são pontos fortes. Toda a casa está envolvida por árvores, vegetação e flores. As alfazemas, as hortênsias e outras flores chamam borboletas, abelhas e mariposas beija-flor, que não incomodam de todo. Pelo contrário, dão ainda mais encanto à casa. Agradeço novamente à Maria José, pela hospitalidade e pela simpatia com que nos recebeu. Foram férias que nos deixaram memórias muito boas e que vamos querer repetir. Ficou ainda muito para ver e descobrir (incluindo a caminhada pela Quinta que já não tivemos tempo de fazer). Obrigada!
