This property is wonderful and the photos don’t do it justice! We were a group of family and friends celebrating my daughter‘s high school graduation, and everyone had a great time. The pool and the porch are so relaxing, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the home was spotless and charming. We will definitely be back – thank you for a fabulous week.!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for taking such great care of our farmhouse. We'd love to have you all back!
Once again, our “girlfriends’ group” had a wonderful stay at this spacious farmhouse. It is so roomy and nicely furnished with everything we needed to enjoy a meal or two at the farmhouse. The location is close to the shows but quiet and peaceful after a busy day of shopping. We are already looking forward to next year’s stay!
The house was everything we need for our stay and felt so comfortable. Check-in and out was such a quick and easy process. Can't wait for our next trip. The house was a perfect distance from Round Top and the wildflowers were gorgeous.
This was the perfect house for a quick getaway! Everything about the house was perfect. We didn’t want to leave. It made for an extra special birthday with close friends.

We are so glad you all were able to get away, decompress and celebrate! Thanks for taking such great care of our farmhouse!
We make the annual trip to the Round Top Antique Festival and have stayed in hotels in Brenham and the RV park in Round Top. This was by far the best accommodations. The house is absolutely adorable and large enough for everyone to have their own "space". The trip into RT is a short 10 minutes so you can go back and forth if need be. We will be staying here for all our future trips!
A group of Moms got to get away to this cute farmhouse. The setting was so peaceful ! Coffee or wine on the porch rockers and swing was my favorite way to start and conclude the day! It was a large house, everyone had their space. First time in a farmhouse and it was a great experience!
This place is a gem! The photos do not do it justice - the living area is extremely spacious and comfortable, with room for dining, playing games, or watching a movie. The kitchen is extremely well appointed. Our bed was possibly the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a rental home, and our friends said the same. The views from the side porch and the pool cannot be overstated - they are truly stunning! Pastures, ponds, and rolling hills for miles and miles. It was so completely relaxing - I can't recommend this home highly enough!
The property was just about perfect for our needs. Enough room for 5 of us adult 'ladies of a certain age' to each have our own beds and enough bathrooms so that we weren't crowded. The seating in the living room was great and the kitchen was well stocked and roomy. While we weren't able to use the pool (weather reasons) or back porch, it was most inviting and the views beautiful. It was just close enough to all the places we wanted to go to, i.e., Brenham, Chappell Hill, Round Top, etc but yet we were able to enjoy being out in the country! We would most definitely rent this house again should we decide to repeat this type of trip.

Beautiful place to sit on the porch and talk to the cows!
We had a wonderful time and loved the scenery, wildflowers, cows, martins looking for their nests, and the breeze on the porch. We used the grill and kitchen each night and there were plenty of kitchen equipment for everything. The house is charming and beds and bathrooms nice. The only thing we might want is another channel on the TV. We did not want to watch it much, but could only get Fox and infomercials when we thought about watching a movie. We would definitely stay here again!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your feedback on the movie channels. We checked the TV and satellite system and it looks like everything is working just fine now including basic cable and premium movie channels. We are sorry you experienced issues with it during your stay. Thank you for taking such good care of our property and we'd love to have you all back!
Once again, our group of antiquing friends had a wonderful stay at this spacious and comfortable farmhouse. Communication with the owner is excellent and she has thought of everything you might need to make a memorable stay here. The kitchen is well equipped for staying in and having some meals at the large farmhouse table and the living room has plenty of comfortable seating. We appreciated having plenty of lamps scattered throughout the house, especially on the bedside tables, and it was nice having ceiling fans in every room. The weather didn’t allow us to enjoy the porch as much as in years past but we know how relaxing it is to sit our there and look at the cows in the field and see the bluebonnets. We’re already thinking about next year’s trip to the farmhouse!

Outstanding in every way
My family of 5 stayed at the farm for two weeks in late July/early August and we cannot commend our experience highly enough.
Every thing was perfect in every detail. The house, garden and pool were spotlessly clean and the presentation of the house was outstanding.
Location-wise, the farm is right in the middle of nowhere which was a positive from our point of view. The only sounds we heard were cows, coyotes, frogs and other wildlife - brilliant!
That said, the house is positioned for easy access to local towns with Houston and Austin just over an hour away.
A fabulous holiday and strongly recommended.
Finally it is worth saying that the care and attention shown to us by the owner was first class - nothing intrusive but we felt there was genuine desire to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible.

Wonderful Stay for Our Annual Round Top Antiquing Trip
Our friends’ group has been coming to the Round Top/Warrenton Antique shows for the past 18 years. We were lucky enough to discover this wonderful farmhouse a few years ago and we don’t ever want to stay any place else. From the excellent and responsive communication with our host to the spacious accommodations to the comfortable furnishings, everything about this farmhouse is top notch. The kitchen is so well stocked that we now fix most dinners there instead of dining out. This year we especially enjoyed our first night’s dinner on the porch overlooking the pasture of Indian paintbrush and grazing cattle. The living room has lots of comfortable seating for our group so we can show each other the treasures we have found each day. It’s so nice to have 3 bathrooms and it makes getting ready so much easier. The bedrooms are all large and there is just plenty of room to spread out. We can’t wait for next year’s stay at the farmhouse and many thanks to Alicia for sharing this place with her guests!

Girls Getaway Trip
Although the house is a cute farmhouse as depicted, we did have some bad luck during our stay. The mini blinds on the door going out to pool broke when I tried to open them, all the slats fell out. Upon further investigation they were already broke and just laying across the strings (not threaded through) so everytime we used the door to go out to pool they would fall out if we didn't watch for it. The plumbing backed up on us the first day, and the owner had to call out a plumber. He was unable to fix the problem so we spent the weekend having to place ALL toilet tissue in walmart bags and carry them out to trash often, We had to flush "sparingly" to avoid overflow. Not something you want to deal with when you are supposed to be relaxing. I wanted to take a hot bath, but the tub stopper did not work. :( The kitchen had a new fridge which was nice, but it was completely bare so we had to bring everything. There was no tupperware for leftovers, ziplocks, foil, saran wrap etc. We had to make a trip to store. It is nice to have the kitchen stocked with things like this that someone will need when cooking. One of the girls in our group found a pair of mens boxers and a pair of socks under the bed she was sleeping in. I guess these got missed by cleaning crew? There was some dust in bookshelf area, nothing I wouldn't have in my own home, however a cleaning fee should take care of things like this. We did not like how far we had to walk out to pool, and how it was disconnected from house. Wish there was a porch or something. We brought a pop up shade tent to put out, because there is no shade. We also brought our own loungers, pool floats, and pool chairs because there were none. The beach entry step is nice to sit and visit while cooling off. There is no lighting out by pool for night hanging/swimming. A lighted umbrella or solar lights would work nicely. There was a wasp nests hanging by back door. Wear shoes when outside, there are sticker burrs! We did enjoy the porch some, and the swing. The big table was nice for game night. Overall, it was nice getting to visit and catch up with girlfriends, but I don't think we will stay in this house again.

Thank you for your feedback and we are extremely sorry your group was disappointed. We worked hard to address the issues immediately. We take pride in our five star reviews and we are sorry we did not rise to the occasion for your group.
After spending all weekend in the pool, my muscles were relaxed like never before. The house is spacious and lovely and had everything we needed. Proximity to town for meals was also a bonus.
The perfect setting for evenings to gather and relax after our days of shopping! The sprawling roominess and beautiful porch made this the perfect place for our trip. I highly recommend this hone!
