Gorgeous Apartment in the heart of Winchester

Your apartment is in a beautiful Grade II listed former schoolhouse, recently renovated with a new contemporary interior. With wonderful views from every window, it is bright, airy and comfortable and only 200m from Winchester High Street. A quiet sanctuary that is the perfect place to explore everything Winchester has to offer. There is also a parking space for your use which is unusual in the heart of town.

The bright and spacious apartment has a sitting room with comfortable sofas, TV and a dining table. There is a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge and freezer. There are two comfortable bedrooms each with a chest of draws, a large bed with luxury bedlinens, a bathroom with White Company towels, a bath and shower.

There are many local cafes, bars and restaurants, and great shopping. There is a local theatre and Everyman Cinema. There are lovely strolls through the city to Cathedral Square or along the river and into water meadows. Take in the many historic sites of Winchester itself or take a trip further afield to the beautiful South Downs, New Forest or the Isle of Wight.

Lovely quiet apartment in a central location

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Winchester. It was surprisingly quiet considering how near it is to the shops/Cathedral etc. It was immaculately clean. Our host,Claire was really helpful. I would thoroughly recommend.

In the eves in winchester

Great location. Great little city. Was very hot whilst we were there and apartment was stifling at times. Not great for tall people as in the eves. Bathroom needs attention. Everything else pleasant. Building is a little scruffy. We had lots of luggage as on a long trip so the 2 flights of stairs not very welcome. In short, pleasant place to stay and a great location Bathroom needs attention. :-)

Fijne bovenverdieping

Gehele bovenverdieping (geen lift) tot beschikking. Bijna iedere ruimte met op/ afstapje te betreden. Gaf een heel knus gevoel. Accommodatie in het oude centrum en met eigen parkeerplek achter het pand. Blij met (nieuwe?) combi was-en droogmachine (zelf wasmiddel meenemen).

A Flat ideally located

If you are looking for accommodation in Winchester which is close to shops, restaurants, attractions etc then this is the place for you. It is very clean and fairly well equipped. There is an excellent pie restaurant & a lovely tea shop just up the road. Being located on an old school house the flat has many sloping ceilings which may cause a problem if you are tall. We are not so all was fine.

Great location of fast responding host

We spent 3 days in this apartment located very centrally in Winchester. The apartment was as described and Claire, our host, was very responsive. Everything went smooth, we had a great time and can highly recommend the apartment for a stay of up to 4 people.

Last minute short break

Excellent location - very central to city centre - shops , bars and restaurants. Well presented and spotlessly clean apartment. Parking bay a bonus - right outside entrance to apartment building. Would definitely book again and recommend . Suggest that description on site should include mention that apartment on second floor, with stairs up to apartment entrance as well as a number of interior stairs/steps.

Well set out property, beautifully maintained and in the centre of Winchester. Kitchen generously equipped with arrival complimentary tea, milk and even Nespresso capsules. Plenty of space. Very clean. Need to be okay with stairs. Total price came to quite a bit more than expected due to added agency and cleaning fees. In this respect only I found the website misleading. Everything else was perfect; a great place to stay
