Easy to find and convenient for W Mersea. House had most things needed for our stay and it was nice to have essential items already there, like tea bags, dishwasher tablets etc. Missing some useful things though, such as coasters and place mats which probably explains why the dining table was so dirty (grimey and sticky, yuk). Other surfaces were also dirty and sticky, notably the banister rail.
Furniture choices were nice but somewhat impractical. Drawers in the bedroom too few and too small. Bedside tables very tiny and quite wobbly so not ideal for placing a glass or mug. Worst thing was the state of cleanliness under the sofa, which didn't look like it had been moved and cleaned under for months, if ever. Only having one toilet was also a limitation.
Location is perfect central to everything you need is within 20 minutes walking distance.
Beautiful 3 bedroom house with a private drive and back garden like a home from home with all the basics you need. (Including things for small people aka travel cot bed guard)
Only down side the information pack is a touch out of date and needs updating as your not allowed to use the garage for storage which is no big deal for us. The restaurants list needs readdressing as the restaurants it suggests were either terrific like the Indian restaurant on the island or not so great like one of the restaurants it suggests on the beach.
Overall though fantastic and would most likely return in the future.
Thank you Declan for letting us stay.
