Winter weekend
The cottage was fine for our purposes. It was freezing cold and smelled musty when we arrived but it soon warmed up when we lit the wood burner (there was enough fuel to light it but we brought a good supply of fuel with us which we were glad of). Downstairs was functional but very dated and the sofas in the lounge were very uncomfortable. Upstairs was fine - the twin beds were comfortable and we slept well. We’d stay again.
