About this property
Nice apartment in the center of Naples
Cozy apartment in the heart of Naples in the central Via Toledo. The apartment is located on the first floor of a historic building consisting of a double bedroom and a bedroom / living room with three beds. Equipped with kitchen with all accessories, bathroom, air conditioning, 2 TVs.
The apartment is located inside the historic Palazzo Lieto listed among the stately homes of historical and artistic interest in Naples. Palazzo Lieto was built in 1754 by Gaetano Lieto, Duke of Polignano and represents an important historical memory of the anti-Bourbon movements of 1848. On May 15, in fact, the rioters who had found refuge in the Palace suffered the assault, with cannon shots, of Swiss troops.
The style of the building, sober and elegant, refers to the classical Roman school and stands out for the interesting noble coat of arms that surmounts the door.
Guests have access to the entire apartment consisting of 1 bedroom plus a sitting area with sofa bed and single bed, cot if necessary, kitchen and bathroom.
The apartment is equipped with wi-fi, hairdryer, linen, fridge, 2 TVs, air conditioning.
Via Toledo is one of the main streets of Naples and one of the favorite stops of the city shopping. Over 1200 meters long, it starts from Piazza Trieste and Trento and ends in Piazza Dante, intersecting important squares and city arteries.
Along its path we find historic buildings, noble palaces, monumental churches, theaters, cafes and famous pastry shops, banks and obviously countless shops and boutiques of prestigious brands.
The road is largely pedestrianized, so it can be traveled safely admiring the points of interest.
The building is located a few meters from the Toledo Metro station in Naples designed by the Spanish architect Óscar Tusquets and which according to the English newspaper The Daily Telegraph is the most beautiful metro station in Europe.
Behind the building there are the famous Quartieri Spagnoli which are a historical part of the city of Naples and which constitute a nucleus of historical and artistic importance of the first order of the city, also offering various hints of popular culture.
