Perfect! Central location and everything we needed

Our host was very friendly and welcoming. The apartment is so central, right on Via Tribunali close to lots of bars and restaurants. Very comfortable and well equipped, the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. We had a fantastic time and will be back!

This apartment is perfectly situated in the historical part of Naples. It is on a very quiet street connecting to the vibrant Via Tribunali which dates from the ancient Roman and Greek periods of Naples and is today a lively and active area with many local shops and restaurants. The apartment is quiet, clean and beautifully organized. Everything you need is there and Dafne, the host, is charming and helpful. We had a wonderful stay in the apartment and a wonderful visit to Naples, Pompei and Capri.

A quiet apartment in the heart of old Napoli

Exactly as advertised, a comfortable, lived-in apartment in a quiet courtyard just 40m from the jam packed Tribunali. Dafne returned inquiries promptly and met us on time at the entrance. No air con, but the thick old walls kept the apartment cool in the evening.

In the heart of old Napoli

Spacious second level unit with balcony to interior courtyard. Easy walking just around the corner to great food, tourist shops, and an underground tour - about 20 mins walking to the train station. Be aware that fireworks may go off in the street outside late at night, as they did both nights we were there. We were told by locals this is done to celebrate birthdays. Hosts very nice and gifted a classic Napoli curved horn for good luck. :)

The apartment is in a good location, on a side street just off a main tourist street, and surprisingly quiet. It is set up for a family with small children (we are all adults). Before using any dishes, they all had to be washed. We found that there was too much of everything in the apartment and little space to store our things. The apartment needs a thorough cleaning and decluttering.

Ok but not worth the price.

First, I need to say that the communication with the host was great. They responded quickly to any questions and gave us a much appreciated overview of the area when we arrived. The location was also good with many restaurants, bakeries, fruit/veggie/meat stores very close by.Overall, the apartment wasn't too bad but it was definitely not worth the price and the high ratings it has.A few of the issues were that the apartment had an older, cluttered feeling to it. There was a lot of stuff in it and it had the feeling like it was lived in but the owners had just left for a few days. It was not real obvious from the pictures but there was almost no natural light in any of the rooms. The one bedroom that had a bit of light was from the enclosed entrance/parking area. There was not one window that just opened up to look directly outside. In the kitchen there were some towels to dry hands/dishes but the only things to scrub the dishes with were some very well used sponges. Again, it was mostly ok but for the price we paid we expected a much better quality apartment.

Thanks for your review, everyone has their own opinion, but frankly I don't understand what you mean in your review. The apartment is a holiday home, completely available to guests it is not an aseptic hotel it is a space that wants to be home, welcoming and rich like a Neapolitan house. The apartment has a balcony which can be accessed from both the bedroom and the living room, overlooking the courtyard of a historic building in the center of Naples, as seen in the photos.

Appartement extrêmement bien situé à Naples

L’appartement est au centre du vieux Naples tout en étant très tranquille. Il est très bien équipé avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner et faire le lavage. Malheureusement la salle de bain a été grandement endommagée par des locataires précédents et est remplie de moisissure.

Très bien placé, dans une cour intérieur d'une petite rue à 50m d'une des principales rue du centre historique. Merci à Dafné pour sa communication, son accueil, ses conseils et sa gentillesse.
