Garden Cottage is a listed, small town house on one of the loveliest streets.
It offers exceptional accommodation to those who wish to get away from it all without leaving behind the comforts of modern living and the convenience of nearby shops and the other facilities of a town. It can sleep six, in three bedrooms. A larger party may like to consider making an additional booking at Churchdown House, the bed and breakfast property next door, which can also accommodate six and is under the same management.
Situated on a quiet no through road it boasts three good sized bedrooms, one with an en suite bathroom. There is also a spacious bathroom on the first floor and a smart shower room on the ground floor. The light and airy kitchen and dining room enjoy under floor heating while the large double aspect sitting room has the benefit if a log burner for cold days. To make the best of the summer months French doors open from the sitting room onto the pretty garden. The walled garden is carefully planted and has a large patio area with a barbeque, table and chairs for al fresco eating. For your entertainment we have stocked the study with a large selection of books, games and jigsaws and a computer with wi-fi access. We had a lovely stay in Garden cottage, it's a beautiful, well equipped and roomy cottage with a peaceful garden to sit out in. It is situated on a quiet road just along from the castle ruins with lovely views.
Bridgnorth is a lovely little town, would recommend Violet's tea room for a delicious lunch. We also visited Morton Corbet ruins, Clun castle and Attingham Park and had a lovely day kayaking.
Parking is on street with a permit, provided by the owners, and we were always able to find a space even with a larger vehicle.
This lovely house is in a nice quiet street within easy walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants in Bridgnorth.
Excellent facilities (one bathroom and two shower rooms) and a lovely little garden. We all felt very at home.
Garden Cottage is a lovely place to stay in the heart of the old town of Bridgnorth. Alison was very welcoming and had added little extras such as coffee, tea, bread and milk in the fully equipped kitchen which was really helpful. The cottage is well furnished and delightful - the photo's don't actually do it justice! Highly recommended!
