This is a lovely property—well looked after with excellent appliances, comfy furniture and a convenient ski locker. It is a short walk to the hill and the whiffletree lift. We hope to be back again!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ken’s Vrbo in the mountains, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The condo was spotless, well-equipped, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
This was a great cozy unit. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped. The house was very easy to access the whiffletree lift. Communication with the host was excellent. Instructions on accessing the house and using the gas heater (which we loved) were clear. Really enjoyed our stay!
Great time Christmas week at this cozy spot! I had my three adult kids with me, so we had a blast! Tons of skiing, relaxing and eating! Thanks for your hospitality, Ken!Best, Jill
This is our second year staying at this condo and it is the best we've found, we love it! Great location, great condo, clean, has everything we need. And Ken is very communicative and friendly! Highly recommended.
Location was great, close to the lift. Plenty of snow and clear weather. It was great to see the eclipse from the summit. The property had everything we needed and fit our family's needs.
We had a wonderful 4 night stay for Feb skiing. Have small kids so the location was wonderful right off Whiffle tree. Very attentive host. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Would definitely return.
Great space, clean, well-supplied, great location close to the downhill and cross country trails. Easy communication with Ken. We were there for 10 days and I can’t think of anything that was missing during our stay! We would easily come back again.

Great Location!
Location within walking distance to Whiffletree Quad and the Village was a plus! The accommodations were fantastic, updated rooms and the decor certainly reflected the owner' s passion for Sugarloaf. The newly renovated kitchen was a pleasure to prepare meals when we were not dining out. Thanks Ken & Family.
Great location, ski-in/out and luxurious upgrades. The main bathroom and kitchen have been redone very well. It is much better than seen on pictures. We will be back!
Thanks Ken!

Perfect Weekend Trip - 5 guys
Can't add much more to the other reviews. Great place. We were 5 guys. Loved the easy access to the lifts. Cooked and grilled almost everyday. Ken was easy to work with and had very clear directions throughout.
Ken's condo had everything we needed for a family ski trip. My children were able to boot up and walk their gear from the condo to the lift (and back) with no issues. The kitchen was very usable - and we didn't even have to use the knifes we brought from home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our winter vacation. The home was exactly as described and had everything we were looking for. We did not have any issues so did not have to contact anyone during our stay. We had 3 great days of skiing and one day of a winter storm on March 21st that closed the mountain! Thankfully we brought our snowshoes and had fun just walking around the area. Would definitely return!
The only way to make this better would be to move the condo directly onto the slopes, it’s that close and that easy. From the secure ski storage to the well equipped kitchen, the views, excellent heating, and laundry setup any criticism would just be nitpicking. We’ll almost certainly be back.
Description of property spot on. Prime location, everything in unit easy to find and in excellent condition. Kitchen well appointed but small. Bedrooms and entry provided will lots of hooks for hanging ski clothes etc. Well designed glove drying stand also provided. Perfect for two couples or a small family. We were fortunate that our stay included several of the best powder days in years.
We’ve been coming to Sugarloaf for about 5 years and have always rented through the mountain. This condo was by far superior than anything to what we have rented through the mountain. The condo was very clean, very well organized, was in a perfect location for ski in/ski out and the owner was very communicative, flexible and friendly during a tough weather situation we dealt with. The only problem with writing this review is letting others know about it! Can’t wait to come back!

Well appointed, clean accommodations
Ken has done a great job on the interior of his condominium. Comfortable beds, great couches, beautiful kitchen, with an awesome gas stove. Super wifi all through the house. Even the Christmas decorations were up and the tree was ready. Thank You ken!
Although the skiing was ok we still enjoyed ourselves tremendously. We hiked, shopped and went out for food and beverages.
I highly recommend this ski in-ski out condo, perfect location on the mountain.

Great ski in / ski out condo - well decorated and nicely appointed.
Great looking, clean, and tasteful condo that was very comfortable for the 6 of us (4 adults, 2 kids). I appreciate how Ken keeps out ski area maps and info on the region. LOVED THE FIREPLACE. Ken was GREAT to deal with, communication was first class, and he helped out when our travel plans got messed up (due to weather). While it's not quite ski out, it's a short walk across the parking lot. Pretty easy walk to the base area (or ski). Everyone we dealt with in the restaurants and shops were very helpful and nice. While this year was not a great snow year for Maine, I look forward to renting again when the normal Maine winter returns!

Why they chose this property
Perfect location , comfy for up to 6. Well appointed, good linens, cookware and features. Not all properties on here are alike. This is clean, neat, well stocked and close to the slopes. No going down the hill to where many of the properties are.
What makes this property unique
Easy ski in and out, adjacent to whiffletree... and on the same parallel as the base lodge, so you are walking over to the lodge and not up and down hills like other properties.
