From its sleepy location and atmosphere to amenities like a private hot tub, your next trip to the Smokies is one you're sure to remember.

Nestled in Townsend, the peaceful side of the Smokies and the gateway to Cades Cove in the National Park, your new home away from home is just a short walk from groceries at Tuckaleechee Market and hearty dining at Country Steak 'N' Eggs. Despite your close proximity to nearby venues, your cabin still feels nice and isolated, surrounded by swaying trees and with a great view of distant hills. Take it all in from the deck, or even your private hot tub!

Inside, floor-to-ceiling wooden details along with naturalistic paintings, create a relaxing rustic atmosphere. Take a seat in the cozy living room to read a book or lounge with your nearest and dearest. There's no internet access in this home, but with nature all around you, and your sweetheart snuggled up beside you, you won't miss it one bit.

The kitchenette makes dinnertime fun for everyone! Everything you need to make basic meals is present and accounted for in this compact cooking space, with a nearby table for four where you can enjoy your food.

Three guests can sleep in this home at once, thanks to a twin-size chair sleeper and a queen-size bed in the loft upstairs. Wake up and step outside to breathe in that fresh, clean mountain air, before showering in the bathroom and heading out for the day!

Maryville is nearby and offers a nice change of pace with its bustling atmosphere. The town has several shops and restaurants for you to explore, on top of historic attractions like Fort Craig Spring. Pigeon Forge, meanwhile, just to the east and offers family-friendly thrills at Dollywood and WonderWorks. Of course, you shouldn't forget about the Smoky Mountains themselves - natural beauty awaits you at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

With your reservation, enjoy one FREE Ticket to each of these attractions: Paula Dean's Lumberjack Dinner Show, Wonderworks, Smoky Mountain Observation Wheel, NASCAR Speedpark, Rocky Top Mountain Coaster and Skyland Ranch, Alcatraz East Crime Museum, Fox Fire Adventure Park, and County Tonight (a $305.00 Value) as well as Exclusive Discounted Tickets to Anakeesta, Hatfield & McCoy, Dolly's Stampede, Comedy Barn and more. *Attractions are subject to change.

Wonderful vacation

The property was clean and everything was functional. It is expected that this is a rustic cabin in a wooded area, so we did experience some insects in the cabin but no signs of other pests as some other reviews suggested. There was a momma bear with two cubs living near the property that we saw several times in the evening during our stay.

Cute little cabin

Loved staying here, so close to Cade's Cove and the National Park. We plan on staying here again. We did not see any animals, but we were at the Park most times the animals would have been out.

Secluded but close to everything

I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and it was perfect! Privacy, hot tub, close to everything, easy to cook... We never turned on the t.v. because we were in the hot tub or watching squirrels and deer or tubing right up the road.

It was an okay stay

Overall it was clean but noT enough attention to detail. The tub could use a good cleaning; hair was still in the tub when we pulled the shower curtain. Otherwise It was overall good. it was close to town. For us we won’t be back but only because of the bedroom being on the loft level and not convenient. Also the number on the fridge to call when you leavE is outdated.

This truly was a bear haven

My other half and I loved all the bears. There were so many. This is truly a bear haven. The full kitchen was nice and allowed us to cook steak, baked potatoes, French toast, etc., without much hassle. The upstairs did get hot, but it is July, and the box fan and ceiling fan did their fair share of work. My only gripe is that the front porch light appeared to be out, so we had to use the hot tub in the dark, and the gazebo may have a wasp's nest in it, but I sat right next to them for over an hour, and they didn't sting me at all.

Great cabin with bears!

Great cabin. Nice bathroom and beds. Spacious. Nice yard too. Private. There was a little mouse friend in the cabin but that’s to be expected and we definitely saw a momma bear and her two cubs!

Great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet cabin off the beaten path. Comfortable bed, nice electric recliners, wonderful hot tub, well stocked kitchen with grill out back, plenty of hot water, cable TV, front porch rocking chairs in a nice, peaceful location for slow mornings. Would come back for another visit!

Bears Bears and more Bears

Lovely cabin just perfect for 2. We enjoyed the hotub daily after bike riding and hiking. We saw bears daily in the yard, one came on the porch and was curious of the hot tub. They quickly scurried away when they saw us. Great stay at bear heaven cabin

One great little cabin

We came to bicycle Cades Cove and found this great little cabin, about 11 miles from the cove. The cabin was really clean including the hot tub. The cabin is named Bear Haven, the name is appropriate as the first morning, there were 5 adult bears in on our grounds. We will definitely be back next year. Thanks for the good stay. Larry

Aptly named Bear Haven

This little cabin off the main drag of Townsend is a nice place to spend a couple of nights. The over-the-top bear-themed decor will put a smile on your face. I was pleasantly surprised that it was indeed a bear "haven," as just about every time I went out on the porch, I saw bears in the nearby woods.

Bear Haven cabin

Loved that we saw bear on property twice. We loved the hot tub and gazebo after a long day .The cabin and decor was great. Wasn't happy with driveway and no storage space for clothing or food especially if your staying a week. But I would stay at this cabin again.
