SPECTACULAR OCEAN AND JUNGLE VIEWS

Located in Amapas, the 'Beverly Hills' of Puerto Vallarta, Horizon Residences offers guests peace and tranquility high above the hustle and bustle of the Romantic Zone. The condo itself is over 2400 sq ft and offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a large open concept living room/dining room and kitchen. The entire front wall of the condo consists of sliding glass doors which open fully to the large terrace which provides the most amazing panoramic views over the Pacific Ocean. The building is built to a very high standard, with luxury finishes including marble floors, granite countertops, a huge master suite with a spa tub and beautiful furnishings throughout. Horizon boasts three infinity pools within the grounds; two which are heated all year and a huge, magnificent semi-circular pool with views over the Old Town/Romantic Zone. There are numerous sun loungers and daybeds for you to enjoy the sunshine and a large and spacious lounge area with sofas and tables set around an indoor water garden.
The condo is fitted with everything you will need for a perfect vacation, including all new bed linens, bath and beach towels and a fully equipped kitchen.
The property is located on the edge of the town alongside lush jungle and therefore it is lovely and quiet at night, however just a 10 minute walk to local beaches or a 5 minute cab ride to the center of the Old Town/Romantic Zone where you will find ample bars, restaurants, shops and nightlife. The famous Los Muertos Beach, Blue Chairs etc is just 15 minutes walk away as is the Malecon and the Mercado.
Horizon has 24 hour security and a staffed front desk, all of whom speak English and are able to provide help and guidance when required or who will simply call you a cab if needed :)
Come stay in paradise. Watch the whales in the bay during winter and the spectacular sunsets year round from the terrace! This really is the life!

From the minute we entered the establishment we were wowed , Impressed to our wildest dreams . Rooms were huge and tastefully decorated . The killer view was 180 from jungle to the city . Pools were awesome , perfect for us ...one cool and 2 warm . Great location with restaurants close by and a couple of quaint stores at the bottom of the hill.. Staff were friendly and helpful . We felt like millionaires for the week stay .A vacay we will never forget .

Relaxing getaway

This property was a lovely, quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown. After a day of excursions, it was great to come back to uncrowded, peaceful pools and views. Would definitely recommend!

What a pleasure to have stayed here. The condo, the grounds and the management company are all outstanding. It is an easy and cheap Uber to any where you need to go and also a perfect place to unwind and relax.

Relaxation

From the time you open the doors to this condo you feel calm and relaxed. The pool being right below makes it feel like a private pool. Bring some runners to get your exercise walking into town but sit and relax in a cab for on the way back up😉 we have rented all over PV and this was one of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed in from start to finish!

Incredible views, beautiful condo!

The condo is located on the mountain side which provides incredible views of the bay and Puerto Vallarta. The condo is well appointed, clean and as represented in the pictures. Paul the host was very prompt in all communication during the booking process and on the day we checked in. Our family loves PV and especially the Amapas - Conchas Chinas area, and the location of this property was ideal for the combination of access to town and retreating to the quite of the condo and pools. Highly recommend.

Lovely spot

Beautiful condo. The condo is cool without using AC and relaxing. Staying away from the main city, we had a little breeze which made the heat more tolerable. We enjoyed our daily exercise going down and up the hill. If you want to take a taxi they are always available. It was only a 20 minute walk down to the main area of restaurants. Staying here is much quieter except for the unusual birds chatting in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Paradise

We were greeted by Lupita and Roger upon our arrival. They acquainted us with the condo and gave us some great tips for things to do. The condo is beautiful and so nicely decorated. The views from the balcony are amazing. Everything you could ever need is available at your fingertips. I loved that the condo had filtered water available so we didn't need to lug bottles of water. The master bed and furniture are comfortable and inviting. The heated pools were wonderful and the locals friendly. I highly recommend this property!

Excellent stay with no issues

Somewhat nervous never having used VRBO before, but we needn't have worried. The owner was very responsive to our questions before the stay, and the listing exceeded our expectations... beautiful layout, very nicely decorated, everything worked, very quiet building, beautiful view of the water, and a great location, only a relatively short walk to the beach or town. It's a steep walk from the main road up to the building, but if we weren't feeling up to it Uber and/or taxis were always available. So overall definitely a very positive experience!

Perfect vacation rental

Spent 5 days in PV with our young kids (5yrs and 10 mos) and I could not have asked for a better experience. This rental is close enough to the action but far enough to be quiet. You could definitely walk down the hill to the beach or town, but we had a stroller and the cobblestone road made it tough. Driving or using cabs/Uber were both easy. The condo itself is spectacular. Well laid out and decorated. Very comfortable. Balcony so pleasant I even slept outside. I couldn't really ask for anything more.

Excellent property that is as nice, if not nicer, than the pics.

A friend and I enjoyed a week here and had a great time. The condo is beautiful inside and out and we had great views from the balcony of the sunset. There are three pools - one right below the unit that we used frequently, but be sure to check out the larger pool which is impressive. Kitchen is well stocked with what you need and the brand-new fridge with filtered water system allowed us to avoid having to buy bottled water. Roger, the caretaker, was very responsive. We had one small leak in the bathroom sink and he came out and fixed it quickly. Overall no other issues. Excellent spot to stay at for the views, cooler seabreezes, and quieter location..

The best part of the trip!

I can not tell you how much this property meant to me and my now Fiancé. Paul and his team, Jesus and Lupita greeted us and gave a tour of the massive property equipped with 3 pools on the property. The condo was breathtaking with unreal views of the coast. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach side which was super convenient. Paul gave clear instructions on how to work the features of the property and even provided complimentary coffee. Out of all the trips I’ve taken out of country (10 in total), this has to have been the best experience I’ve had with a property. 20 out of 10. Please book, (just not my dates as I’m definitely going to be using this again haha)

Amazing View!

Thank you for the wonderful stay in your condo. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the sunset. We used the patio more than any other room. Even with all the patio doors left open, it was a very quiet place at night for sleeping. The condo was well stocked with great appliances. Grounds and pools were beautiful. We were the only two who used the unheated pool but loved it and the view over Puerto Vallarta was breathtaking. The walk into Puerto Vallarta was challenging crossing the highway at times. Great workout walking up the hill which burned off calories so we could eat more at the great restaurants in the area. Would recommend this beautiful condo to others. Roger and Keith are great property managers and very friendly and informative.

Spectacular condo in a great location

I highly recommend this rental property. It is in a quiet location not very far from old town. We walked into town every morning for coffee, about 20 minutes, and on a couple of occasions took a cab into town for $5 CA. Security staff at the reception desk were very polite and spoke good English. Cabs always arrived within a few minutes of being called. Paul made sure we had all the details we needed before our arrival and check-in was a breeze. Roger, the property manager, is a super nice guy and always available if needed. The condo is clean, modern, spacious and well stocked with utensils; we had no problem cooking our own meals. The building complex is also very well maintained and quiet. Our guest experience was five stars all the way. We are already booked for next year! Shelley & Bill N

I really wish we had more than 2 days to spend in this very clean and modern condo. I love that it is tucked away from the chatter of PV yet close enough to walk down to the beach where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. we walked quite a bit and would grab a taxi back which cost nothing our tip was more . I love that the condo had an abundance of towels and linens and the kitchen has every thing you need. there is a washer and dryer. both bathrooms and bedrooms were comfortable and plenty of room . shower pressure was awesome the outdoor space is just as welcoming as the indoor space which can become as one once you open the sliding glass doors. there are 2 small pools and a large infinity. I can't say enough about how clean this condo is. we had Martin greet us and do a final walk thru when we left and I also can't say enough about his hospitality. thank you Paul for a great space with a great energy and peaceful vibe

Don’t think twice, just book it!

This property is as amazing as the photos show it to be. Breathtaking views of the mountains and ocean from large open glass doors and a large patio. A perfect sunset to watch every night. The whole space is incredible; comfy beds, lots of open space for relaxing in and outdoors, up-to- date kitchen with upscale appliances, huge bathrooms- (one with a jetted tub), washer and dryer and all the extras you might need. Just book this place- you’ll not regret it. Paul was so good at helping me with every aspect of the planning and then when we arrived Keith, the property manager, was super helpful getting us settled, telling us about the city and wonderful restaurant suggestions ( we enjoyed Siam the most). This property also has a swimming pool one story down that was so quite and private. The doorman was in attendance 24 hours a day to assist us with transportation and other questions. I would suggest you using Uber as your first choice. The hassle in attempting to tell taxi drivers where we wanted to go with our limited Spanish skills was difficult. Even with written addresses some taxi drivers could not read and with the condo being in a residential area they often found it hard to navigate getting us back home. So again, Uber takes all the difficulties with that away. We were treated so friendly by other residents of the condo and they were helpful as well with suggestions. Overall it was a lovely time for my daughter and I to celebrate her 40th birthday. Thank you to Paul and all of his people for helping make this very special trip even more special.

Marvelous views and exceptional accommodations!

The communication prior to our arrival was very thorough. We arrived at the luxurious condominium with ease via taxi from the airport. The location far exceeded our expectations. Pictures don’t do this place justice! Not only top-notch digs, a concierge at the front desk who was friendly, helpful and always available. The town was just a short 10-15-minute walk from the condo--the beach was even closer. The concierge was always happy to call a taxi whenever we needed one. The building was modern, clean and safe. If the views from the veranda don’t take your breath away, one of the three beautiful pools on the property certainly will. The added bonus is that they seemed to belong entirely to us, because we rarely saw anyone else enjoying them. The complex was so quiet and relaxing (think luxurious spa or resort.) Two of the pools are heated, so the water never feels cold. The pools' infinity edges were a great touch to make you feel like you're hovering over the city and looking directly at the ocean views, which was spectacular during sunset, especially. Let’s move to the condo itself. One word – AMAZING! The living area is open concept with kitchen, living and dining all together. The sliding doors open wide to reveal the expansive balcony with incredible views of the ocean. It's also positioned one story above one of the pools, so you can easily visit with your friends in the pool while sipping cocktails on your balcony. The balcony offered a perfect view of the sunset every evening, directly in front of us, as we enjoyed a glass of vino before dinner. Each bedroom is spacious and includes its own roomy bathroom. The master bedroom suite is simply fabulous, with access to the balcony and a bathroom that includes a Jacuzzi tub and large walk-in shower. The second guest bathroom includes a large walk-in shower, no tub, but incredible jungle views from two sides. It felt like taking a shower in a rain forest. The beds were comfortable--we slept like babies, very refreshed and ready to explore PV the next day. Of course, the kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances, but we are the type who enjoy the local flare, and there was plenty of it. Sixty pesos takes you into town via taxi, which was always easy to get from the concierge, and the drivers were friendly. It's always the same price, coming and going (standard rates), which are very affordable. All the restaurants and bars in town were incredibly affordable too. Highly recommend!

We are a British couple who moved to and now live permanently in Dallas, USA. We previously owned and rented to guests a very successful apartment in Nerja, Spain but with us becoming permanent residents of USA, decided to sell in 2016 and purchase the condo in Puerto Vallarta - a dream come true!

Why they chose this property

We saw many properties during our search both new and old and also in and out of the Romantic Zone. We immediately fell in love with Horizon and in particular this unit as it is located within a short distance of town but sits alongside the jungle so we get the best of both worlds. plus the view from the terrace simply can not be beat :)
