5 minutes (by underground) from St Stephen's Cathedral, within walking distance of the world famous 6km² Prater recreational and amusement park, and within easy commuting distance of famous theatres, parks, markets (including the famous Viennese Christmas markets), golf driving range, cycling paths, windsurfing facilities, coffee houses, art galleries, palaces, opera houses and so much more. The few seconds walk to the underground station U3 Kardinal Nagl Platz, will take you directly to any one of these countless attractions and to and from the airport with 25 minutes!

Culture vultures, adrenalin junkies and everyone between will find this apartment the ideal base for their Viennese adventure!!

This non-smoking apartment consists of dining area/kitchen with seating for 4, living area with a sofa which converts to a double bed, one bedroom with double bed, and a bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, hob, electric kettle and fridge/freezer. The living area has cable TV and internet access.
Travel cot can be provided, if requested in advance.

In the surrounding area you will find restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, bakery, doctors, pharmacy and laundry.

Small dogs are more than welcome and a dog park is within walking distance.

Great place!

We stayed at this apartment for 3 weeks total, and it was perfect for our needs. The apartment was clean and fresh upon our arrival, had everything we needed, is spacious (for Vienna!), close to grocery stores and several bakeries, and in a nice area. It is a short walk from the u-bahn as well. Also close to the river and Prater, which we took advantage of for walking. The hosts were great, even providing a fan for a particularly hot summer week in Vienna. The apartment stayed pretty cool, but being Canadian, our tolerance of heat is unusually low and the fan was much appreciated. We will definitely stay here again!

Nous avons passé une semaine à Vienne pour une conférence au Messe Wien. L'appartement est très bien situé, très confortable, et la communication avec notre hôte a été excellente. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Mangelhafte Hygiene

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem soliden und gut saniertem Altbau. Die Einrichtung ist im Grunde in Ordnung, wobei jedoch keine der beiden Schlafgelegenheiten als komfortabel beschrieben werden kann. Das größte Manko ist jedoch die Sauberkeit. Schon beim Betreten der Wohnung fiel uns ein muffiger, säuerlicher Geruch auf, der erst nach einem Tag Lüften nachließ. Die Oberflächen der Küchenzeile, die Spüle usw. waren nicht sauber, die Schlafzimmermöbel eingestaubt. Am schlimmsten war jedoch die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher, die einen schimmligen, säuerlichen Geruch hatten. Dies änderte sich auch kaum, nachdem wird die Bettwäsche in der dort vorhanden Waschmaschine, gewaschen hatten (offensichtlich waren eine Verschmutzung der Waschmaschine die Ursache). Die Vermieter haben am zweiten Tag (nach dem wir sie erreichen konnten) neue Bettwäsche vorbei gebracht und die Waschmaschine gereinigt, was wir mit einem Punkt berücksichtigen. Die Beschreibung "ruhig" trifft nicht wirklich zu, da die Geräusche vorbei fahrender Autos schon ziemlich stark durch die im Sommer gekippten Fenster dringen. Personen mit leichtem Schlaf würde ich die Wohnung nicht empfehlen. Unter dem Strich war der Aufenthalt weder angenehm (Hygiene) noch komfortabel (Schlafgelegenheiten).

I was born in Poland, grew up in Sweden and studied in Austria. For many years I have been living in Vienna and enjoy this amazing city. I can give my guests a lot of insider recommendations on where to have the best coffee, delicious breakfast as well as what is happening in Vienna at the moment.

Why they chose this property

I was looking for an apartment to rent for a long time, and when I viewed this one I knew I had to make it mine. With the whole house and apartment being 19th Century but freshly renovated, the quality and style matched my exacting standards. The high ceilings, stucco work, big windows and beautiful ornamentation, coupled with the modern elevator, heating and windows made this flat to one where I would like to stay in. And then being only 2 minutes away from the motorway, 2 stations from the City Airport Train Terminus, less than 10 minutes from the Centre of Vienna and being served with local shops, bars and cafes I knew this was a holiday apartment which I could be proud to offer.
