Excellent location - lots of nearby shops, restaurants, and bakeries. Easy access to transit. Apartment well suited for 6-day father/son stay. Host always responded quickly and was very helpful and accommodating. Could not asked for a better place to enjoy a week in Vienna

Stay in a central Viennese apartment

A lovely place to stay. The high ceilings, double doors to each room, and the parquet floors were wonderful, as were the books on the shelves and the pictues etc on the walls. Loads of places to eat in the neighbourhood and several excellent bakeries close by. Rochus Markt is a delightful place to shop/eat/drink.And all this within 2/3 stops on the U-bahn from the very centre of Vienna.We'd certainly go back!

Sweet spot near the Innere Stadt

Very quiet, roomy apartment that is very close to most of the main tourist attractions and to public transport. The location has lots of nearby options for food or other items. A very nice place to stay while visiting Vienna.

Nice apartment in Vienna

Nice and quiet apartment in a charming older building. The apartment is located very close to public transit (making for super easy access to all of Vienna) and the apartment's neighborhood has many restaurants, grocery stores, and other services. A very nice stay!

Great apartment close to central Vienna

We took the apartment for a month as I was working. Peaceful and light filled and only 3 U-Bahn stops from central Vienna and two bus lines directly outside front door. Not as touristy as other areas so felt good for the 4 weeks we were there. Lots of super market choices as well as great local bars and restaurants.

Great apartment for a quiet stay

We had an excellent week here. The apartment is well-equipped and well-located. Close enough to transport to easily get wherever you need to be but far enough out of the centre to be quiet. The fact that the windows face into the courtyard and north also helps to keep the temperature down when the weather is hot. Communication with the host and their rep on the ground all went absolutely smoothly. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing apartment and perfect stay

My family (two adults and two children) stayed here for almost two weeks. We love the apartment. It is in a perfect location. It is in the third district so it is not in the crowded tourist area. It is on a busy street so you have many bakeries (Vienna’s bakeries/cafe are the best! Open from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, in fact you will have cafes in every block), restaurants, groceries (billa is a big chain in Vienna. There is a Billa 1 min away from the apartment). The apartment is 2 min walking from U3 and 1 min from BUS 4A and 74A. They will get you to Stephen’s cathedral in about 10 min. Vienna has impressive public transportation system and you only need to wait less than 5 min for the next bus/subway. My kids got used to the public transportation so quickly and they loved riding them. Here is the amazing part of the location: although it is on a busy street, the apartment opens window to the building courtyard therefore it is extremely quiet. The apartment has the most efficient setup. When we arrived, there already a king bed and two single beds set up with fresh sheets and homey comforters. Since they are all the low platform beds at the same height, it makes the bedroom a perfect and spacious sleeping place for a family of 4. It also has a large living room and adequate kitchen and bathroom with every thing we needed. Only a washer without a dryer. But drying the cloth on the rack by a window is extremely efficient (and makes much more sense environmentally) and convenient (I just used the washer at the nights and dried them on the rack. By the noon of next day, they are ready to wear. No need to wait for the dryer). The building and the apartment are old but with elegance. High ceilings (I feels it is 12 feet), many huge windows with white curtains, patterned wood floor and lovely decoration. I was concerned it could be hot when the temperature was 35 before arrival. In fact, the apartment was surprisingly comfortable even on these days. All we needed was to keep these amazing window open and we got nice night breeze. I feel the apartment just like Vienna, relaxing, elegant and with characters. After staying here my husband now is completely convinced this is the kind of apartment we would love to live after kids go to college. We love to come back!

L'Appartement est exactement comme décrit ds l'annonce. Pas de surprise. Le seul bémol est peut être les deux étages à gravir qui sont très hauts,surtout avec les valises. Sinon je le recommande vivement surtout pour le charme d'un appartement ancien.

Schöne Woche inmitten der Stadt

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in der Stadt. Die Wohnung lag für uns ideal, mit der U Bahn erreicht man alles innerhalb kürzester Zeit. Es war sehr ruhig nach hinten raus gelegen, auf der Straße nach vorne war man dann im Stadtleben und hatte fußläufig alles was man brauchte. Wir durften schon morgens in die Wohnung, die Kommunikation war sehr, sehr gut. Danke noch Mal für die Rettung mit der Wäsche.

Tolle Wohnung zentral gelegen

Die wunderschöne gut gepflegte Altbauwohnung hat alles, was man braucht, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Trotz der hohen Temperaturen haben wir immer gut und ohne Stechmücken geschlafen. Gefehlt haben uns nur Eiswürfel für unsere Cocktails, da der kleine Kühlschrank leider kein Eisfach hat. Trotzdem gerne wieder.

Ferienwohnung zum Wohlfühlen!

Auf der suche nach einer Wohlfühl-Wohnung für meine lange Workation bin ich hier auf jeden Fall fündig geworden! Vom ersten Kontakt bis zur Schlüsselabgabe hat alles gepasst - der 3. Bezirk gefällt mir unglaublich gut und nach anstrengenden Arbeitstagen in der Stadt konnte ich mich in der Wohnung super zurückziehen und entspannen. Gerne jederzeit wieder! Für Altbau-Liebhaber mit dem typischen Altbau-Flair!

Lage top - Matratzen Flop

Also von der Lage wurde in der Beschreibung nicht übertrieben. Die Unterkunft befindet sich nur wenige Gehmin. von der U-Bahnst. Rochusgasse entfernt im 3. Bezirk und die Anbindung an die Innenstadt ist super. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, sollte dieses auf dem P&R-Parkpl. an der U-Bahnst. Erdberg abstellen. Die Größe der Wohnung ist mit 60 qm und eingerichteter Küche perfekt. Das größte Manko aus unserer Sicht sind allerdings die Betten. Lt. Beschreibung sollte die Bettwäsche aufgezogen sein, dem war nicht so und statt zweier Laken, befanden sich 2 Bezüge mehr auf dem Bett. Das war aber alles nicht so schlimm und die Laken haben wir dann auch noch in einem Wandschrank gefunden. Was schlimm war, waren die unglaublich harten Matratzen. Man schläft wie auf einem Holzbrett und quält sich den halben Tag mit Rückenschmerzen. Mit dem Fernseher hatten wir auch kein Glück: es gab immer nur die Meldung "kein Signal". Was die ruhige Lage angeht, so stimmt das nur bedingt. Meiner Meinung nach sind die Anwohner unglaublich diszipliniert, in dem man sich sehr rücksichtsvoll verhält. Ansonsten hört man genau, was im Innenhof oder im Treppenhaus passiert. Und wenn die Mülltonne durch den Innenhof gezogen wird, steht man senkrecht im Bett. Das passierte von Mo bis Frei an jedem Tag. Dann das Parkett: schön anzusehen, aber nur am Knarzen. Die hohen Erwartungen aus der Beschreibung konnten nicht erfüllt werden. Von einer liebevollen Einrichtung haben wir auch andere Vorstellungen, zu viel Ikea.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt zentral, mit den öffentlichen ist von hier alles gut zu erreichen. im ruhigen Hinterhaus. Ausstattung ist auch passend für uns gewesen. mit persönlicher Note. mail-Kontakt war sehr nett und vor Ort wurden wir auch freundlich empfangen. alles super unkompliziert. gerne wieder...

Wien in der Hitze

Es war alles sehr schön und die Lage der Wohnung außergewöhnlich gut. Das einzige minimale Manko war, dass es extrem heiß war und man die Hitze trotz vorhandenem Ventilator und Fenstern zum Innenhof fast nicht mehr aus der Wohnung bekommen konnte. Aber da kann ja weder die Wohnung, noch der Vermieter etwas dafür.
