La Ribera cottage for 4 people

Rural house located in the heart of the Picos de Europa, in the village of Lon, in Cantabria. It is located in a quiet area and removed from the town, oblivious to all kinds of noise and vehicle traffic. It is completely surrounded by trees and a playground.
The ground floor is a diaphanous space with kitchenette, dining room and living room with fireplace. It also has a toilet.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. One of the rooms consists of a 150cm double bed, wardrobe and desk. The second room has two 105cm single beds and an extra bed, closet and desk. It also has a cot.
There is central heating throughout the house.

It has an outdoor porch and garden area, with barbecue, gazebo and hammocks.

An independent and fully equipped rural house where you can spend unforgettable days in the middle of nature and just 45 minutes from the beach.

IMPORTANT: Pets are allowed after consultation with the owner.

Stunning location

We had a great week here. The house is lovely and was very clean. The host responded quickly to messages and met us on arrival. It's a fantastic location and has amazing views of the mountains.

Mooi, schoon huis, goede uitrusting in keuken en andere ruimtes. Geweldige ligging, uitzichten en rust. Behalve de natuurlijke geluiden van krekels en bosuilen. De 1e keer zijn de smalle steile straatjes, naar het huisje, “ een avontuur" met de auto, maar daarna, ook met de handleiding van de eigenaresse, weet je hoe je in dit soort situaties moet rijden. We hebben prachtige bergwandelingen in de Picos gemaakt.

Goede ontvangst, zij het alleen in het Spaans. Heerlijk huis in een prachtige en rustige omgeving. Mooie plek om wandelingen te maken, Fuente Dé is op korte afstand.

Traumhaftes Haus und traumhafte Lage

Wir waren begeistert! Das Haus liegt wunderbar in den Bergen, bei schönem Wetter kann man schon morgens vom Garten aus auf ein traumhaftes Bergmassiv blicken. Die Straßen zum Haus sind eng und sehr steil, aber die anderen Autofahrer sind sehr geduldig und nett. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist recht basic und im Haus war es Anfang Juli etwas kühl, aber es gab nichts, womit man nicht klar kommt. Im Garten hatten wir passablen Handyempfang, und ein paar Meter die Straße hoch war der Empfang super. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

Hola Virginia, lo primero decirle que ha sido un placer tenela a usted y su familia hospedada en casa la Ribera. El mes de julio ha sido más llovioso y húmedo que otros años, por lo cual la casa ha estado más fresca. Si me lo hubieran dicho yo encantada les abría conectado la calefacción. La casa se encuentra situada a los pies de los picos de Europa, con lo cual, hay un acceso con unas pequeñas cuestas que se transita sin ningún problema como usted ha dicho. Estaré encantada de recibirles de nuevo. Un saludo.

Delightful rural retreat and lovely home

This is a delightful house in a beautiful area. Expertly reformed and with all modern amenities (dishwasher, washing machine, flat screen tv) We took our own 4G internet which worked fine On the kitchen windowsill. The property was very clean. One area for quick improvement would be to provide better quality items of cutlery and more crockery. 2 mugs felt sparse and left us washing up more often. We shopped locally and bought knives for our stay. However this didn’t deter from a very enjoyable, safe and peaceful holiday in this remarkable area. Our hostess Marisol was a really lovely lady, very helpful and knowledgeable. No hesitation to recommend to others.

Un lugar tranquilo, en medio de la naturaleza

Casa de piedra acogedora con jardin privado y vistas al valle. El lugar esta algo escondido y practicamente el pueblo y el camino termina ahi, de forma que no pasan coches. Los caminos que parten de ahi tienen bastante pendiente pero merecen mucho la pena. Aconsejable ir con un buen mapa. La casa esta bien equipada aunque vendria bien un tostador mejor y algo mas de menaje (cuchillo de pan, cucharillas, vasos). Tambien el aparcamiento esta algo complicado ya que esta en cuesta. Creo que podria solucionarse allanando la parte de tierra junto a parking. Lo que mas me gustaba es que no habia mucha cobertura, un lugar ideal para desconectar toda la familia.

Hemos pasado una semana en navidad!!decir que es una casa genial ...comoda y limpia y el entorno maravilloso .Con toda seguridad volveremos ..marisol nos tenia preparada la casa con la chimenea encendida y ya nos sentimos comodos nada mas llegar!!

En plena Naturaleza

La casa está situada al final del pueblo cántabro de Lon que está a unos 7 km de Potes en un desvío de la carretera de Potes a Fuente De. El lugar es muy tranquilo y aunque el acceso es un poco dificultoso la primera vez que llegas, sobre todo si llegas de noche, Marisol, la propietaria ,nos fue guiando para que pudiésemos llegar sin problemas. La casa tiene calefacción centralizada muy eficiente, estuvimos entre el 28 de Diciembre y el 3 de Enero y con temperaturas exteriores de -3ºC en ningún momento pasamos frio. La casa en si es muy acogedora y bastante nueva consta de dos dormitorios, uno de ellos enorme con dos camas y otro con cama de matrimonio tiene un baño completo en la planta primera y un aseo en la planta baja ademas de una cocina americana incorporada a un comedor y salón con chimenea, las paredes son de piedra natural y para subir a la primera planta tiene unas bonitas escaleras de madera. En el exterior tiene un porche con mesa y sillas así como un jardín con barbacoa de obra. El lugar es muy tranquilo situado en plena naturaleza sin ruidos de tráfico y similares y desde el se pueden iniciar rutas por los alrededores. Si pretendes descansar en plena naturaleza este es el sitio adecuado. Sólo un pequeño fallo no hay conexión a Internet y la cobertura telefónica es bastante pobre., Pero si vienes a descansar no la echaras de menos.
