Excellent location

Great location, steps away from the train station and the vernazza beach area. Only one flight of stairs to the property. Big spacious rooms and bathroom with laundry. No air conditioning but fans available. Kitchen is fully equipped too. Would stay again for the convenience of the location.

Apartment is very close to train. The management company is right next door - very kind and helpful. The apartment is very large and is clean and well supplied. We did not understand how noisy it would be - it’s definitely right in the action. But if you typically stay up late and get up early - this wouldn’t be a problem. And obviously you can hear the trains - but that’s to be expected. Lastly, we really wanted a kitchen to make some of our own meals. We picked this place specifically because the property description has a picture of a four burner stove and oven. When we got there - she said none of that worked and there was just a hot plate. Disappointing. We did use the washer several times and that was great!

Quirky place with good location

We were here in the busiest, hottest part of August (temperatures at 90F/32C). The listing clearly says there is no air-conditioning, so we knew we wouldn’t have it, but know that the apartment doesn’t cool down much at night. There is a ceiling fan above the bed and a small table fan in the dining room, but they do little. The apartment is on the main street near the train station, which is wonderfully convenient, but at night with the windows open, the street noise and passing trains are incredibly loud. We wore earplugs and were still woken up every time a train passed. The heat and the noise aren’t a fault with the apartment, it’s just something to consider depending on your noise and heat tolerance. The apartment itself is spacious, but quirky with a strange jumble of furniture and grandmother decor. There’s good water pressure and hot water, and having a washing machine was wonderful! They even provided clips so you could hang your clothes out to dry outside (hang out the window!). The stairs up to the apartment are very steep and very narrow, so be prepared for that, too. It’s great for what it is: a quirky and somewhat odd place, in a beautiful old building with a good location.
