Tropical getaway at the Maui Banyan! Partial Ocean View 1 bedroom, 2 bath.

Maui Banyan complex and condo are located just a short walk to the Kamaole Beach Park II. This is one of South Maui's most popular and Life Guarded Beaches.

Condo is fully furnished with all the comforts of your own personal home. Also includes amenities that will make it home away from home in Paradise. Provided for guests use are beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, etc.

This beautiful property is in a private garden location and on the 3rd floor over looking the property out to the ocean. Enjoy morning Kona coffee while watching the sunrise from Haleakala or the sunset on the water in the evening.The lanai (patio) is accessible from private bedroom or living area. The complex provides a swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ grills and tennis courts.

A quick walk to enjoy the Maui fabulous Kamaole Beach II, is fantastic for swimming/snorkeling or just soaking up the sun the Maui way (don't forget the sunscreen).

Around the corner you will find restaurants, shopping and all that beautiful South Kihei has to offer. A short drive you will be able to take your game to the championship golf courses in Wailea and Makena. We also have Elleair Golf Club in Kihei, which is only one mile from this complex location. So bring your game!

The wonderful one bedroom has a wonderful queen sized bed, dresser, private closet, for your evening slumber. The owner has provided a sofa sleeper in the living area for extra sleeping arrangements. The dining table has seating for four, just located off the kitchen area.

The kitchen is an open concept which makes the living area and kitchen a great place to mingle while preparing something to eat. All cooking utensils, dishware, flatware, dishwasher, are all provided for your use. The washer/dryer are in the condo for the convenience of washing your laundry, when needed.

The condo also provide guests with a Free Internet/WiFi Service during your stay. Information is provided in the condo for ease of access.

Beautiful spot

The location was fabulous but the unit needs a thourough cleaning. We found an orange pill in the closet and the baseboards were Really dirty. Besides that the Condo was Great!

Its OK , But only AC in one room, odds and ends are needed, Re Updating in general, Property Mgr. very accommodating, to any immediate concerns, that she can control. ie We felt the toaster need to be replaced w/in 2 hours there was a NEW Toaster Delivered to the units.

Enjoyed our stay

We have stayed several times at Maui Banyan over the years. This is the first time we stayed in this condo. It was not the best but not the worst condo we have stayed in at MB. This condo is very plain and seems like not many upgrades have happened over the years. We are not the type of people who require high end upgrades, so we were not offended with the furnishings. We did notice the shower floors were dirty and there was dirt in the corners. The living room table lamp is weird as it alternates back and forth between dim and bright. The bed was very soft which took a little bit of time to get used to when we are used of a more firm mattress. The shower water was warm and had good pressure. One thing I would recommend for the owner to do is a thorough check or all the items and rooms and replace/clean items as needed. And do a good thorough clean to spruce the overall appearance.

A well located, clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay

This condo is clean and the bed was comfortable. We felt safe and enjoyed the short walk to the beach and shops. It's located fairly close to some great snorkeling destinations and an easy drive to wonderful hikes. The kitchen appliances were replaced just before and during our stay, which was not ideal for us esp. as the new refrigerator turned out not to work (though hummed as if it did). I decided not to reduce stars for this (although we were only comped part of a day's rent for this major inconvenience, with some already-purchased food going bad and the inability to even have cereal in the morning so several meals out) because a) nobody else will have to deal with this and instead can enjoy the new appliances, and b) the property manager worked hard to get us a new refrigerator as soon as possible, left us a gift card to a grocery/deli to help further comp us, and oversaw the stove install as well to make sure that was smooth. She definitely has renter's experience in mind and tries to make everything smooth, which will also apply to future guests. The kitchen worked great for all our needs (we cook all meals) once we had a working refrigerator. The couch pullout bed was standard (not v. comfortable as a bed, though comfortable as a couch) but worked fine. We were glad to have the 2nd bathroom and, despite once doing laundry and dishwasher at the same as 2 showers, the water pressure was fine. The indoor space was spacious enough for the 3 of us and we also enjoyed the lanai. Parking, once you have a pass from the front desk, is anywhere that isn't marked as reserved and there were always available spaces at least on the roof of the garage despite the busy time (2nd half of Dec). Other than some cats yowling one night and people arguing on the beach one morning, the grounds were very quiet and we didn't hear across walls or between floors, which, as a light sleeper, I appreciated.

Dated but great location

This unit was an absolutely wonderful location with a nice view of the mountains. There is virtually no ocean view with the exception of the few glimpses through the trees. The unit was very dated and could have used a good dusting on some baseboards and wall hangings. We couldn’t get the living room remote to work and sometimes the bedroom one worked in the living room so we made due. The a/c was great in the living room but barely cooled the bedroom and it was loud. The sliding door to the living room balcony was very loud. The fabric blinds and bedroom curtains are due to be replaced. With all that said, the unit was very comfortable and well stocked, though there wasn’t a cooler and I thought there was supposed to be one. Almost everything we wanted was within walking distance. We used a Safeway about 10-15 minutes away for groceries. I do wish there were parking instructions in the welcome letter and our pool code was wrong but again, we’d still stay here. The cons, though I list most of them, were outweighed by the proximity of the beach and restaurants.

Safety of my documents and purse

If I could suggest something you need to add to your condo it would be a small safe. I felt very uneasy leaving my passport, purse in room without somewhere to lock it up. I’ve stayed in other vrbo’s that provided the safe. I truly enjoyed my stay and have already recommended your condo to friends. Thank you for a lovely experience in my vacation.

The location is great, very walkable to a lot of restaurants and shopping and most importantly the beach is very close, 2-3 minute walk. It would’ve been nice to know where to park our rental car since our flight arrived very late and the office was closed. Thankfully security helped us out. The unit is not fancy but had everything we needed. Was a great vacation!

Excellent Unit

The unit looked out on a garden and green area which gave us privacy and was way better than the units that looked out on the parking garage and other units. The only slightly down side was the bedroom is an area off the living area that is separated by sliding frosted glass doors one of which went off its tracks but even when in place let in light and noise from the living area. Clearly a "one bedroom" but in practice more like a large studio apartment.

Ok needs basic maintenance

No real instructions so here are some tips. Park on the 3 floor of the parking garage anywhere. 2 bathrooms don’t have enough water to take showers at the same time. The light switch toggle is Primary bath. The bedroom light turns on and off by itself. The window air conditioner is loud. Ok for days. At night we slept with sliders open. If you do laundry be careful the lint trap (metal) is broken. I wiped it out with paper towels. Enjoy your stay location is great for Kihei. I reached out with my concerns to management company. I got no reply ! Aloha !

Check in was super easy. Location was A1. Literally 3 min walk to the beach with an amazing view of the sunset. The sunrise comes right into the bedroom. Clean upon arrival. Appliances worked perfectly. 2 bathrooms for convenience. Parking was easy and accessible at all hours. Amazing place to stay in the amazing city of Kihei.
