The property is lovely. Located in the spanish quarter you feel like you are part of the action all the time. You can watch the area bussle from your balcony. Easy walk down to the sea. Good shopping and food nearby.
First if a cab doesn’t drop you right at the door plan to climb climb climb with your luggage. The check in process was simple and the proximity to shops and restaurants was good. The layout was nice and it was clean and stocked. However it is very loud. Not just a very busy street all night long (bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper) You can also hear your neighbors through the wall. You also share a window balcony with your neighbor. There are only one set of keys and when you leave you need to turn off the electricity and all the keys are padlocked together. So if there is more than one of you and someone wants to go out you either all need to go or sit in darkness. The WiFi only works in the living room not up in the bedroom. The air conditioning never worked so it was pretty warm in there all the time. Authentic old town Naples but overall was not a place I would stay again.

At this point, it feels like there’s just a desire to criticize, and that’s not pleasant at all. The apartment is located right in the heart of Naples… “climb, climb, climb” — I don’t understand how a 20-meter incline can be considered difficult.
If you need silence and aren’t used to city life, then it’s better to go to the countryside, where absolute quiet reigns. The Wi-Fi works, and the air conditioning works perfectly well, but since it was cold during those days, we had it set to heating mode.
There is only one set of keys, as in hotels, for security reasons. There’s no need to stay in the dark — you can simply knock and whoever is inside will open the door (it doesn’t take much to understand that). But you want additional keys to leave everything open, which is not possible.
It’s not necessary to choose us — the feeling is mutual.

The location is great. Close to many attractions and shopping. The check-in process was smooth and easy. There 4 different keys you need use and carry with you. The only thing that was difficult was the outside noise. You are in the Spanish Quarter so lots of moped honking and driving under your window. The restaurants are just below as well so the patrons can be loud on occasion. If you bring ear plugs and Tylenol PM you should be okay. Oh, and you do share a balcony with your neighbor. The walls are thin between apartments.
The apartment is located a short walk away from Via Toledo, a prime shopping area. The neighborhood is well lit at night and filled with bars, restaurants, and cafes. There are plenty of small grocers a few steps away while many of the important sites to be seen are a short walk away. The neighborhood itself is lively during the afternoon and evenings. However, once within the apartment, noise from the street is almost non-existent. The apartment has been recently remodeled and is very clean and well-equipped with bedding, towels, kitchen utensils and supplies. The kitchen is small but efficient as is the bathroom. The bedroom is very large and consists of a very comfortable king sized bed and a single bed. There is a balcony off of the bedroom facing the street-a great spot to have your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The wifi works very well on the first level, with some occasional spottiness while in the bedroom. The host is quick to respond to any questions and eagerly provides a list of things to do in the area. One small thing to note, only one set of keys will be provided-as a result of issues with previous tenants. Definitely a 5 star rental. I wouldn't hesitate to return!

Extremely loud place and controlling owners.
The apartment is in the middle of a lively area, yet the single glazed french door and window provide zero sound proofing, so say good bye to a good night rest. Never ending noise of motorbikes and cars passing under your apartment- made no difference if windows were open or close.
The apartment is equipped with 2 A/C units however you’re not allowed to control the temperature, only switch on and off because owners want to make sure you don’t overuse electricity. So if one room requires warmer environment than the other, bad luck. They “don’t have the remote control”.
Another ridiculous thing is that all keys are connected with a padlock, so you have to drag a kilo of keys around, so the controlling owners don’t run a risk of you forgetting to switch off electricity as you leave because to turn on the electricity you need to unlock it with a key. Also, only one set of keys is provided so you don’kappen to leave one key in the electricity and use the other to lock the door.
I’m not even going to comment how rude the communication with the owners was.
If you run a place that costs this much per night, treat your guests with some respect!
Immer wieder!
