CLEANING/SAFETY UPDATE:
This home is professionally cleaned, immediately after every stay. We also put a minimum 2 day block of vacancy between every stay. You check in and out without any human contact. The house is a safe distance from any walkway, parking or passers by. Cleaning products, disinfectant, wipes are provided on site for guests to use.

When you rent this property, you rent the WHOLE property. Not a room or part of it and no one lives onsite. You and your guests will be the ONLY ones there. (you should check other property listings, because sometimes, this isn't the case). This includes a fully stocked kitchen, 3 outside decks, big/empty closets to put your stuff away. You will enjoy the benefit that everything you need (other than food and drink) are provided. All condiments, cooking oils, utensils, napkins, trash bags, appliances for the kitchen. Soap, shampoos for the bathrooms. Cleaning products also.

This is my families summer/vacation home. Built in 1940 and remodeled in 2016 It has classic lines and a simple, yet open layout and feel. Everything in the house works and is in great shape.

There are 3 large bedrooms, with King and Queen beds to sleep 6 adults. There is a big blowup bed for 2 additional children or teenagers, with sheets, pillows..

Just up from Liberty Station. 6 blocks up the hill with great views of the Bay and City. Easy access to the Airport.

Only a 5-10 minute car/Uber ride to:

Total privacy and safe. Wide street. Easy, free parking on both sides of the street with no HOA. Right down the street from a school, so monitored by SD Police.
3 big bedrooms. 1 king and 2 queens. 3 bathrooms. 2 showers and a big tub. Huge front deck patio with fire table, heaters and party lights.

Roof Deck just added for unbelievable views of San Diego Bay. Access by new spiral staircase and take in the views during the day or stunning night surroundings.
Sleeps up to 6 in the bedrooms and a blow up bed for 1-2 kids.

Huge back, private patio with seating for 12. Heaters and gas grill for your use.
Custom Kitchen with all the amenities.
Central AC (2 units) and Gas Heat. Unlimited Hot Water.

NOTE: There are no Cameras inside this property. Also, this is our 2nd home, so there is very little in the way of personal items in the bedrooms or bathrooms. Plenty of room in the closets for your items. However the kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked with items you will need during your stay.


Once you Book, you will receive documents with information on: The house, the area, the attractions, the house technology, what to bring and is included (and what isn't). I also can make recommendations for the area for restaurants, attractions, etc...Just ask!

HOWEVER, TAKE NOTE:
This is not an All Night party house. Please do not rent this house if you are planning on having loud, late night parties with lots of people. While there is plenty of room for a party, it should move inside by 11 pm and under 10 people. Excessive noise, drinking, trash and late nights are not encouraged or tolerated.
Also, most (if not all) of Point Loma and Coronado are affected by airport or military aircraft noise. There are very few places in these areas that don't have some airport noise. This house gets very little military aircraft noise. However, it does get commercial aircraft noise from the hours of 6.30 am to 11.30 pm. Sometimes, those jets may turn north and then the house gets little noise. 95% of the time, the house is in the area of takeoffs, not landings, which is much quieter. Some guests have actually commented in their 5 star reviews that they enjoyed the new roof deck, at night, to watch the planes take off from the airport.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
There is a 'Departing Checklist' provided to you and in the Guest Book. Please follow those rules. You do not have to run the washer. Thank you
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Turn off AC's and close windows/shades upon departure please. If you move items, please put them back where you found them.
Make a note on the White Board on things that you used and ran out of. (propane for heaters, etc...)
No late night (past 11 pm) parties on the Front Deck, if noise levels are high. Under 10 people. No smoking of any kind.

Why they chose this property

You won't want to leave one of the 3 patios/decks. San Diego is made for the outdoors and this property is made for that. The views are to die for, either from the patio deck or the newly added rooftop deck. The neighborhood is quite and private. (and need for you to be respectful in keeping it that way please). Yet, a 5-10 minute drive, you're in Liberty Station, the airport, downtown, Gas Lamp District, Petco Park, Coronado, Mission or Pacific Beach.
