Great spot for some time away

Lovely cabin, clean and well equipped. The high ceilings and log beams make it feel very unique. Location is good for exploring the local area, with places to visit on foot or by car. I would come here again (and judging by the guest book, there are many return visitors).

Wonderful stay at Hopes and Beams

My husband and I had such a nice time staying at the cabin in Harrogate. The surroundings are beautiful and we went on many hikes close by. The cabin was well equipped with everything needed and very comfortable. Gemma was a great host! We will definitely go back if we travel to the area again.

So relaxing!

A fantastic stay at a very lovely log cabin! Its so peaceful and cosy, but the cabin is huge at the same time! It did get quite windy, so it was a bit cold in the hot tub on our first night (but it is November and got down to about 2 degrees!)

Just what we wanted!

This cabin was everything we were looking for. In a gorgeous location, with lots of lovely walks in the Yorkshire Dales on your doorstep, and adorable farm animals on the site itself. The property was gorgeous and well maintained, clearly a labour of love. The wood beams are absolutely stunning and we could have spent all night in the hot tub! Having a fully stocked kitchen was such a bonus for a cosy night in. Gemma was so helpful, recommending spots for dinner and local taxi services, making the check-in process smooth and simple, and leaving milk and prosecco in the fridge for our arrival. So thoughtful!

Wonderful Home from Home

The lodge was easy to find, peaceful, tranquil and wonderful. We stayed for a few nights, it was lovely. Would highly recommend. The basics were provided (tea, coffe milk etc) which was a lovely touch. Definitely returning there in the future.

Highly recommended, Gemma the owner was amazing helping with our 50th Birthday Celebrations

This was one of the best weekends away myself and my wife have had. So peaceful and relaxing and the hot tub was a great touch. The cabins are genuine log cabins and refurbished to an extremely high standard. Perfect place to re-charge your batteries, We would return.

The cabin itself is amazing, clean and a home from home. It has everything you need and the hot tub is so relaxing. The location is lovely it’s so quiet and there is a town 10 minutes down the road

Gem of a place

Absolutely wonderful. Well designed, stylish, comfortable - everything we could have wished for. A lot of thought has gone into this place and what people might need. Could happily have stayed longer. Great to get some provisions on arrival - including lovely home made shortbread.
