Yorkshire Rose Holiday Lodge
Situated on the very popular Bridlington Links golf course site, Yorkshire Rose Holiday Lodge is a very spacious, detached log cabin on a beautiful park with woodland walks and picturesque surroundings.. 2 steps to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: 50" Smart TV
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Air Fryer, Slow Cooker, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher
Utility Room: Washing Machine
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, 32" Freeview TV Ensuite: Corner Bath With Shower Attachment, Toilet
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds, 32" Smart TV, Netflix, Amazon Echo Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet
Separate Toilet.. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. . Veranda with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 4-acre natural grounds (shared with other lodges on-site). Gym (shared with other lodges on-site, payable at the office). Golf clubs. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking or e-cigarettes. Please note: There is a pond on the golf course 600 yards away.. Nearby attractions include beaches, stately homes, seaside villages and market towns. It’s perfect if you enjoy walking or golf and ideal for families or if you’re simply after some peace and quiet.
The golf clubhouse is a short 400 yard stroll from the lodge, at which there is a popular restaurant and bar which you can use along with a gym (payable at the office). The bar area leads onto a veranda with stunning sea views from where you can sit and enjoy a meal or drink.
Guests with a qualifying golf handicap can play the 18-hole championship links golf course with a 25% green fee discount and all guests may hit some balls in the club’s driving range.
Nearby Bridlington, boasting a wonderful sandy beach, is a traditional seaside resort for families with a busy working harbour. There are plenty of bars and restaurants and the Bridlington Spa Theatre is very popular with international acts and shows.
Sewerby Hall is accessed via a path from the lodge site. This stunning Georgian mansion has award winning gardens and a zoo for the children to visit. With over 50 acres of parkland, there are plenty of places to enjoy a picnic along the clifftop before catching the land train that runs between the hall and Bridlington.
To the north of the golf course, you can walk to Danes Dyke Nature Reserve where there are some wonderful nature and wildlife walks. It is a great, dog-friendly place to take the children and wander amongst the wooded areas down to the shoreline. Paths from here lead to Flamborough Head, originally a small fishing village, it has spectacular white chalk cliffs and rugged clifftop pathways.
The RSPB bird sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs is a short drive away and here you can see thousands of migrating seabirds, especially the puffins. Scarborough and Whitby are further up the coast, both very popular holiday destinations.
Further afield is a day trip to York, the North Yorkshire Moors or Leeds plus many more locations.
