Too cosy to leave!

This owner family’s summer home is very clean, cosy, and comfortable. I immediately felt as if I returned to granny’s house when I was a child. The charming house has a story of the sea and the spirit of someone who deeply loves the sea. I am sincerely grateful to the owner for sharing with us the charm and gastronomy of the Adriatic Sea. It takes only one minute to the sea. Many extremely delicious restaurants nearby. Above all, the house is tremendously cosy inside and outside. We recommend this place with the highest mark!

The Perfect House and Perfect Host

We stayed at Villa Aquaviva as our home base for our trip to Salento with my wife and both of our parents. The house couldn't have been more perfect, and exceeded our expectations in every way. The house has 3 outside patios, one with a great view of Castro and the Adriatic Sea and the other in a beautiful garden, and the upstairs has a wraparound patio which each bedroom has access to. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything one could ask for. We had people aged from 35-75 and everyone agreed it was the perfect house for the trip. There is a great beach club called Lido Fico within walking distance and you could also walk down to the Aquaviva cove and swim on a short walk down to the ocean. Another main highlight was Marinella the host, who was the best host I have ever had on a short term rental. She put together a rough itinerary for us which gave us ideas for our trip, and helped tremendously with our dinner reservations. Not only did she get us a reservation, she had us placed at her favorite table at the restaurant which of course is the best table. She was very responsive and extremely helpful. I would 10/10 recommend Viva Aquaviva and will likely return on my next trip to Apulia if Marinella will have us. Blake

Perfection in all ways

We had the delight and pleasure to stay at Marinella’s property. She greeted us with the most exquisite meal and lovely bottle of white wine. She was a wealth of knowledge as to the surrounding area and even arranged for us to have an incredible day on the water exploring the sea caves of southern Puglia. The home was well stocked for all our cooking essentials (which we used daily) and there were 2 terraces for either morning breakfasts or evening dinners. The only disappointment was having to leave. Marinella was the most accommodating and awesome host we’ve ever experienced. Look no further. . This property will make your trip a memory to cherish for years to come. Thank you so much Marinella.
