Very comfortable and well equipped cottage. We saw virtually nothing of the owners but were confident that they were there if needed. A good location if you want a peaceful break away from it all.

We enjoyed our stay at Lambs Cottage.
We enjoyed our stay at Lambs Cottage. We expected it to be rural and it was , very quiet and the deer coming outside the bedroom window was a bonus. Our only criticism was there was no plug in the bathroom sink so my husband who wet shaves had to use the kitchen sink to shave. Other than that great stay. Take warm clothes though as being rural the cottage can feel chilly.

The weather was not good but did not stop us getting out, it would be lovely to visit in the summer when you can make the most of all the walks.

Lambs Cottage is very comfortable and well equipped.
Lambs Cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. The weather was cool during our visit so we appreciated having central heating for chilly evenings and mornings! It is in an extremely peaceful location, surrounded by lovely countryside, but this means that local amenities are few and far between. We were able to watch and listen to all the birds which visited the garden. We very much appreciated the welcome pack left by the owners.
We were sorry to leave.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Lamb's Cottage, perfect for two.
Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Lamb's Cottage, perfect for two. Had forgotten how narrow some of the Devon roads can be so initial drive to the cottage was scary at times. The cottage was spacious and everything was well planned.
Particularly impressed with the kitchen, small but perfectly formed, including a dishwasher and microwave etc. and well stocked with cutlery pots and pans. The thoughtfulness of providing basic items such as salt, pepper, teabags, milk, washing up liquid, pan scrub and tea towel was much appreciated along with the welcome pack that included wine, muesli and biscuits amongst other items.
The bathroom equally well equipped. We liked the separate dressing room that acted as a walk in wardrobe. The only niggle we had was the mattress, for us it was too soft but after a day or two the Devon air helped us sleep like logs each night. The location was very peaceful and we enjoyed breakfasting outside and watching the many birds.
Would happily return to such a lovely cottage in beautiful Devon.

We had a great bank holiday at Lambs cottage in its nice tranquil setting.
We had a great bank holiday at Lambs cottage in its nice tranquil setting. The cottage felt very private and had great access to the Blackdown Hills AONB for walking. It wasn't too far away from the coast for a full day out either.
The inside was well furnished with a good selection of DVDs to fall asleep to after a long day out in the open air.
