Pound Farm Holidays - Orchard Lodge

Our wooden bespoke 2 bedroom Orchard Lodge is situated within its own secure grounds with amazing panoramic views over the Devon hillside with a stream meandering through the valley. A west facing veranda with outdoor seating is the perfect place to watch the sunset. Enjoy the rural tranquil location, wildlife, starry skies, walks and beautiful scenery that a perfect farm stay can offer.

We have a quiet Fishing pond area, well stocked with Roach, Rudd, and Perch. You are welcome to fish as many times as you like during your stay at no extra cost or just sit, relax and enjoy the wildlife which can be seen in and around the pond.

Pound Farm is easily accessible just a 10 minute drive from the M5 (J28). We are situated on the edge of the village of Butterleigh, in Mid Devon.
2 bedrooms - 1 double and 1 king-size zip n link bed ( which can be made into two single beds on request)
Fully fitted kitchen - electric oven & hob, microwave, dishwasher, Washing machine, free standing fridge freezer, slow cooker
Open plan lounge dining area
1 showed room, wc, hand basin
Electric heating throughout
Included - linen/bedding, towels, bath, hand towels & tea towels
Utility room - additional wc & shower
2 dogs welcome (£30 per per per week)
Sleeps 4 +2 - sofa bed in lounge to accommodate 2 guest (additional charge for sofa bed £25 per person per night)

Wonderful cabin in stunning countryside

A stunning little gem in the heart of Devon countryside. We were visiting my brother and family nearby and needed somewhere that could accommodate 5 of us and our dog. This cabin did not disappoint. Only built last year, it features a fully functional kitchen with everything you could need provided, including delicious cakes, milk, eggs, mushrooms, tea and coffee and other staples. The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean and the bathroom had a good size walk in shower and plenty of space with some nice toiletries provided. The wrap around veranda was fabulous with seats provided to take in the stunning views. We wish we had spent more time there as the weather was fabulous when we visited at the end of August, but we definitely plan to return sometime in the future for another stay. The owners Anne and Rob were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend if you want a tranquil and peaceful stay in the Devon countryside.

Brilliant accommodation in beautiful area for a chilled break great hosts

Cannot recommend enough superb in all aspects very quiet area away from busy lives. Very clean everything you need for a perfect stay plus extra personal touches from the host ie fresh flowers and home made cakes. Lots of walks nearby and loved seeing the sheep and chickens every morning when you wake up.

Fantastic place to stay

lovely wood cabin located on a quiet farm surrounded by animals. Owners very nice and friendly people. Very peaceful get away and highly recommended
