About this property
206 via Roma, tourist location
My house, a small building from the early years of the last century, is located on the main street of Linguaglossa, in the new district built at the end of the nineteenth century and therefore called 'New Houses'.
206 via Roma is easily identifiable thanks to the beautiful wrought iron balconies made by one of my great-grandfather's children.
For you, two exclusive rooms, each with its own history and originality. For your breakfast and relaxation, the best local products and those that I will prepare for you.
The house in via Roma 206 has been my refuge for many years, the place of memories, stories, experiences, flavors and smells. Its history has a special value for our family which I would also like to pass on to guests.
In the long renovation I tried to take care of the details without betraying the essence of the place; I drew inspiration from those who built and inhabited it: my great-grandfather Vincenzo, his wife Peppa and nine children. I respected the historical architectural elements, which are the distinctive feature of this house, taking care of the details to make this place elegant and welcoming, with the addition of an essential touch of modernity that makes it smarter and greener.
I hope that once you cross the threshold, you can breathe the atmosphere of Sicily and feel at home. I hope that once you cross the threshold, you can breathe the atmosphere of Sicily and feel at home. The rooms have independent services. Organic products are available for personal hygiene.
The large living room, with its modern and functional kitchen, is the meeting point of the house, to be shared with your loved ones and friends.
From the terrace an unparalleled view of Etna, to be enjoyed in the sunset hours.
The house has been renovated with quality materials; many decorative elements were made by local craftsmen.
I am very sensitive to the issue of environmental sustainability, which is why I have improved the building's thermal insulation and energy efficiency.
If you want to discover the nature of the area, I will take you to my countryside to immerse yourself in the aromas and flavors of the garden; there you can collect seasonal fruits (figs, prickly pears, grapes, plums, apples, pears, cherries, apricots, jujubes, blackberries, pomegranates, persimmons, unusual fruits) and also vegetables and wild vegetables.
