Amazing host and excellent for families!

We truly loved our stay at Borgo Borghese. Our son played in the garden, picked and ate fruit from the trees (chinese plums, of all things, and he liked them!), and generally had a ball of the time - he even rode a donkey! The place is close to both Taormina and Savoca (a real gem), and close to a long beach road with a supermarket and some decent restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, and every morning we were able to collect fresh eggs from the chicken coop (which also made a perfect hideaway for Easter eggs). Salvo, our host was absolutely amazing. Every morning he would ask us questions about what we would like to do, pop off and come back with maps and ideas and advice. As a result we saw things we didn't even plan on doing. He made us feel incredibly welcome. I would thoroughly recommend the place, particularly for families with young children.

Heerlijke centrale plek, lieve mensen

Debora en Salvo geven je een ontzettend welkom gevoel, ze maken vaak gezellig een praatje en hebben veel tips over de omgeving. De foto's doen de werkelijkheid tekort, het is een heerlijke plek om te zijn, een ruime tuin met veel speelmogelijkheden voor kinderen, en een gezellige moestuin en plek voor de kippen. Ook het appartement was mooi en schoon. Helaas was een van de airco's stuk toen wij er waren waardoor het soms wat moeilijk koelen was in de kamer van ons zoontje. Een goede centrale plek om mooie plekken als Taormina, Syracuse en Savoca, een prachtig plaatsje heel dichtbij in de bergen. Absoluut een aanrader!!

Eine gepflegteWohnung auf dem Land mit wahnsinnig netten Gastgebern

Die Wohnung "Luna" hat uns gut gefallen, sie war neu und sehr gepflegt. Der Garten und die Umgebung sind grün, in Sizilien im September eher die Ausnahme. So haben wir jeden Tag das Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick in den Garten genossen. Zum Meer konnten wir auf einem bequemen Weg am ausgetrockneten Flussbett in 20 Minuten gehen, der Strand hat überwiegend Kiesel. Auch ein Supermarkt und andere Geschäfte im Ort waren auf diesem Weg erreichbar. Besonders nett war die Gastfreundschaft von Debora, Salvo und ihrer Tochter Irene! Sie hatten viele Informationen und Ausflugsideen für uns, und der Abend am Pizzaofen zusammen mit den anderen Gästen ist unvergesslich! Sie ertrugen sogar unsere Versuche Italienisch zu reden, obwohl sie gut Englisch sprechen.

Lovely!

Debora and Salvo are the most wonderful hosts. Our stay at their place felt like visiting good friends. Their tips and assistance made all the difference for our vacation. Our four years old daughter loved riding donkey "Peppino" and fetching fresh eggs from the chicken barn. Thanks for everything Debora and Salvo! We hope to come back at some point.
