Fabulous family friendly 4 bed villa with private pool

La Casa De Abajo is a 4 bedroom detached villa with pool, situated in the Spanish village of Puente don Manuel in the Alcaucin district; where local bars and restaurants serve traditional Spanish dishes and tapas (many English dishes too). Enjoy the shops and weekly farmers market (larger markets within 15 minutes drive). Beautiful Lake Vinuela is just 2 minutes away (one of the largest freshwater lakes in Spain) with fishing, sailing, shady wooded areas for barbeques, and great walks.
Baveria golf course 20 minutes and Anoreta golf 25 minutes cater for all golfers.
Just 15 minutes drive is El Ingenio a large shopping centre with designer shops, cinema, ten pin bowling, supermarket and various restaurants.
Mount Maroma national park is nearby for walks and picnics
Sierra Nevada, Europe’s most southerly ski resort, is approximately 75 minutes away.
La Casa De Abajo is only 40 km from Malaga (45 minutes) and just 14 k from the sea and the Costa del Sol (20 minutes)

Fabulous 4 bedroom detached villa set in private grounds with a private swimming pool.

Ground floor
Fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, extractor, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster and kettle.
The lounge and dining area runs from the front to the back of the property and has patio doors leading to the garden. The lounge area includes a PS2 player/DVD player with a small selection of games and DVDs, TV and CD player with iPod docking station and is furnished with two leather sofas. The dining area has an extendable table and can comfortably seat 8 people.
The shower room on the ground floor has a WC, sink and large walk in shower.
The large double bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed and fold down bed suitable for a child. Ample wardrobe and shelving space.

First Floor
Door to the upper balcony and sunroom. The washing machine is also housed here.
Main bedroom has a double bed and ample storage and boasts access to a small private balcony.
Both twin bedrooms have twin beds and ample hanging and shelving space.
Hairdryer available
All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning units and individually controlled radiators.
Bathroom with WC, sink and bath and shower over bath.

Excellent villa. Really well equipped. They've thought of everything. Very friendly check in. Beautiful area. Pool is clean. Plenty of shade at different times of the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay ( 2 adults and 5 kids from 17-5)

Fantastic Stay

The property had everything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Most importantly good air conditioning in the rooms which kept us all cool in 42 degrees heat. The pool isn't the largest but is more than enough to have fun in with children. The area whilst remote had enough shops near by to keep you happy. With a 20 min drive to the bigger stores.

What a fabulous holiday villa!!!!

We were a party of 8 and there was plenty of space for everyone. The check in/out process was smooth and flexible. The villa was clean (thankyou the lovely cleaning team) and very well equipped, it felt like a home from home. On arrival there was tea/coffee/milk/juice /water left which was very welcome due to our late check in time. Basic provisions were all provided (salt/pepper/oil/toilet roll/bin bags etc) which really helps and made feeding everyone a breeze. The pool and garden was kept lovely and clean by the friendly and helpful Ian. There were lots of places to in the garden with 8 sun loungers and tables and chairs in the shade as well as in the sun. We used the garden BBQ which was fantastic to dine by the pool. Bath towels and pool towels were also available which was a great touch and washing machine to wash them when required. The restaurants close to the villa were accomodating and friendly providing well priced quality menu. I cannot think of any negatives to mention about our stay and would recommend the villa to any large or small family looking for hassle free property rental.

This property made our holiday into something really spacial. It’s not really just a property
 it’s a HOME from home. There’s everything you could ever imagine you’d need. It really does have a family feel to it. There’s plenty of space for two families (we were a party of 6) inside and outside. We were able to contact the housekeeper about anything and she got back to us with helpful info. We found everything we needed locally within a short walk or car ride away if we felt a bit lazy or it was too hot to walk. (We went in august so it was hot hot hot!!) We rented a car and to be honest we did wonder if it was worth it but when we got there and towards the end of our holiday we realised that it would have been much trickier to get around without it. Taxis are not easy to come by and are sometimes booked up so it’s definitely worth having a car on hand. The only downside was the bed downstairs. We all had a go at sleeping in the double bed and we all struggled to get a good nights sleep on it. It’s rock hard!!! That did cause us a few sleepless nights and it could easily be resolved but luckily for us being a party of 6 we could move the two single mattresses downstairs to sleep on which helped massively. But if there’s 8 people staying in the villa, whoever gets the double bed might struggle to get a restful sleep. All of us agreed that we would go back to the villa in a heartbeat!!!! It really is home from home

Superbe séjour à la casa de abajo

Nous Ă©tions 2 couples avec 2 enfants chacun ( 8/ 6/ 5 et 2ans). La maison est idĂ©ale pour 2 familles chacun a son espace et son intimitĂ© grĂące Ă  l'isolation entre l Ă©tage et le bas (de plus la maison est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e il ne manque rien ! Vaisselle ,produits mĂ©nagers anti moustiques....) Le jardin avec la piscine est tout simplement magnifique les oliviers nous font de l'ombre Ă  tout moment de la journĂ©e. Les propriĂ©taires ont pensĂ©s aux enfants avec de nombreux jeux gonflables pour la piscine et pour la plage vous n'avez rien Ă  prĂ©voir, des caisses de jouets ...le paradis des enfants!la localisation Ă  4 kms d'alcaucin est trĂšs bien ce village est magnifique et nous sommes tombĂ©s pendant la fĂ©ria un super moment passĂ© avec les espagnols, quelle ambiance !Nous sommes Ă  15 minutes de la mer de torre del mar ville trĂšs sympa. Nous avons des souvenirs pleins la tĂȘte et pourrions revenir pour un nouveau sejour. Merci pour cet accueil en andaloucie
