Summary:
We are Brik, an apartment hotel located on Amager in Copenhagen, housed in a century-old brick building. Our fully equipped apartments draw inspiration from the Bauhaus movement and the area’s industrial character, using bold primary colors to add a contemporary layer to the historic structure. With easy self check-in and access to our hotel services, we aim to keep travel practical and uncomplicated.
The Space:
This apartment is set up for up to six guests and is located on the 1st or 2nd floor of the building. The layout includes a combined living and kitchen area including a sofa bed and dining table for six, as well as two separate bedrooms. Some of the units have balconies, depending on availability. The apartment has been designed with care and set up as a functional, fully equipped home.
At our sister hotel, Dahei, free luggage storage is available in individual, code-secured lockers located in the shared laundry and locker room on the ground floor. Parking is also available at Dahei, including electric car chargers, and can be booked through our Guest Hub, subject to availability.
The building has its own character, and while amenities are consistent across apartments, layouts may vary slightly. This property doesn’t have an elevator.
Guest Access:
Our concept is simple: the apartments are fully equipped and carefully designed, accessed through easy self check-in with a personal code, and supported by a 24/7 online reception for anything needed before or during the stay.
Extra services can be arranged through our Guest Hub, including additional housekeeping, late check-out (available for purchase until 1pm, depending on availability), and baby cribs and high chairs at no charge. Free mid-stay cleaning can be arranged for visits of eight nights or more.
The Neighborhood:
BRIK is located on Nyrnberggade in the Amager district of Copenhagen, a residential area with a local, everyday rhythm. The neighborhood is a mix of housing and small businesses, with supermarkets, cafés, and daily conveniences close by. Amager offers easy access to both the city and the waterfront, with Amager Strand, Copenhagen’s largest beach, within walking distance. The area sits slightly removed from the busiest parts of the city, while connections to the center typically take around 10 minutes. Copenhagen is well known for its food scene, and we keep restaurant and café recommendations in our Guest Hub. We’re also happy to help with suggestions or assist with bookings.
Getting Around:
Getting around Copenhagen from BRIK is straightforward. Public transport connections are nearby, with metro and bus lines providing easy access to the city center. Cycling is a practical option as well, with bike lanes connecting Amager to the rest of the city. Central areas such as the Inner City or Nørrebro are typically reached within 10–15 minutes by bike or public transport. From Lergravsparken, the closest metro station, Copenhagen Airport can be reached in around 7 minutes.
Other Things to Note:
BRIK is located in a residential area, slightly removed from the city’s busiest areas, with generally lower noise levels. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises, and pets are not permitted.

We had a lovely stay in the apartment, it was tidy and had everything we needed! It was well situated close to the metro and two supermarkets. The beds were super comfortable and there was excellent communication with the host. We would definitely stay again!

Clean, big, airy, comfortable, nice building in a nice area with grocery store close by. It was a bit far from the city BUT a short cab ride and would definitely stay here again.

Good location, with supermarket near the property and with bike rental possibilities. Its worth to rent bikes to go for a seaside ride.

This property was very nice, very clean. Being outside all the hustle and bustle of the city center was a huge plus for us as when we stayed, it was in the low 80’s(Fahrenheit), so we needed to open the windows at night to cool the apartment off. We were able to leave some windows open all night without much street noise at all. The last two days we had some very noisy people staying above us, stomping and making noise all night, but that certainly was not the fault of the apartment or the renting company. That was just lack of respect by other renters. I would most defiantly stay there again as it was a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, and about a 10 minute walk to Lergravsparken Station to then travel to anywhere you need to get to. There are also bus stations very close by, our kids just preferred to use the train most of the time. It was clean, quiet, very family friendly with a grocery store just a short walk away as well. Highly recommend!!!

While we didn't do a ton right in the area of the apartment, the location to the metro was convenient to get to all the places we needed to get to. The proximity to the airport was nice and made it really easy as well, and check-in was super smooth -- the door codes are really convenient! We still had no issues finding what we needed nearby (food, coffee, grocery). The property managers were available and helpful, though we didn't really need much during our stay anyway! The space was good for 4 adults -- the bedrooms are a little tight and we had to walk over our bed to get to the window in one room, but I think it's nice to have the larger beds instead. We were glad to have the washer/dryer in unit, and while we didn't do a ton in the kitchen, the coffee machine, additional sink, and full fridge & freezer was really useful. We had some unexpectedly hot days during our stay, and while there was no air conditioning, we did get pretty warm, but generally could cool the room off OK with opening windows (until it got late and had to close them for the bugs lol). Overall, we were happy with our stay and were happy to have this location and the apartment as our place to land during our stay in Denmark! (Visiting from the United States)

Wir waren für 6 Tage in Kopenhagen und haben in dieser tollen Wohnung übernachtet. Check in hat bestens funktioniert, die Wohnung war sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.
Durch die super Anbindung (Metrostation 5 Minuten entfernt) gelangt man schnell und unkompliziert von A nach B.
Lediglich ein zweiter Kleiderschrank wäre praktisch, zumindest wenn mehr als 5 Personen die Wohnung nutzen. Da wir aber nur zu dritt waren, war alles völlig ausreichend.
Empfehlenswert ist es, eine Kopenhagen-Card zu erwerben (als App oder in 'analoger' Form als Karte), die zum Fahren der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel und als Eintrittskarte zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten dient.

Tolle Wohnung für Familienurlaub zur Stadterkundung
Sehr sauberes, modernes Appartement, ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht in einer Ferienwohnung. Stadtstrand von Amager zu Fuß in 15 Minuten zu erreichen, Metrostation in 5 Minuten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Auswahl an verschiedenen Take Away Imbissen ebenfalls in der Nähe. Für uns als 4-köpfige Familie eine tolle Basis, um Kopenhagen zu erkunden.

Sehr moderne Ferienwohnung für 6 Personen
Sehr modern eingerichtet; optimal für 6 Personen; Metro-Station in der Nähe...dort kann auch der PKW ganztägig bleiben (Metro-Station Oeresund liegt außerhalb der Parkzeitrestriktion)
Wenn restliche Bauarbeiten am / im Haus beendet sind, sind die Ferienwohnungen optimal für einen Familien-Aufenthalt in Kopenhagen.

Very nice place
