It Is The Perfect Escape
Wonderful quirky self catering, B&B Yarm cottages ideal for a weekend away, hen parties, stag do’s, wedding accommodation, contractors digs or just to get away. A fabulously quirky venue offering a romantic hideaway.

We have various cottages sleeping 2 people to cottages sleeping 4 people. Also have cottages available that sleep 5 persons up to cottages sleeping 6 to 8 people and now we can offer a cottage that caters for up to 12 people. We are also very pet friendly and we understand you don’t want to leave your four legged friends behind.

Home From Home
All of our self catering B&B Yarm Cottages have a shower room whilst the practical kitchen area is perfect to prepare a tasty breakfast or a packed lunch or you can try the pub next door – Fox Covert if you don’t fancy cooking the food is all homemade and is lush and also dog friendly too which is a 1 minute walk serving between 11am – 10pm.
The self catering cottages are perfect for exploring the countryside as there are wonderful walks and also cycle paths in all directions as well as a couple of excellent pubs and restaurants in Yarm High Street. These unique self-catering, Bed and Breakfast Yarm holiday homes are comfortable and usual – affordable and fabulous countryside – a perfect base for your holiday with lots of local amenities and fun places to go.

Lovely quirky little getaway

Had a lovely over night stay with our dogs, slept really well in the comfortable bed and had a lovely shower in the morning. The pub next door was also lovely at welcoming and we enjoyed some home cooked food. We had the chance to chat with The owner who was very welcoming and couldn’t do more. This is the 5th time I have tried to upload a review, not fair to the people I am trying to review! thanks for having us x

Not what we expected

We weren’t expected until the following day. Therefore our apartment was not prepared for us. Heating and fridge hadn’t been turned on. The rooms were dull and disappointing. Although everywhere seemed clean we kept finding used tissues in the bathroom, under the bed and tucked down the sofa.

Angie is a lovely warm welcoming lady , nothing was a bother , only staid one night as was having a meal in the Fox Covert next door which is really great place , The cottage was a propped cottage feel , and could sleep upto 6 but was only the two of us , proper kitchen and shower n toilet was compact but everything you needed , lovely place to stay and will be back , also location is good for all local amenities and local attractions, Thank you

the property looked nice,but having a closer look the kitchen blind was disgusting,the shower was dirty,and the whole of the house was damp and moisty,the bed and pillows was so moisty and damp we had to sit on the sofas till daylight came we packed up and told the owner we wanted a refund which we got.but it should of not of been let out in that condition in my opinion it asent been cleaned for a year or aired since lock down 1 word dont go youl be sorry.

These premises are warm clean and cosy . It was left with the stench of cigarette smoke, beer cans and cigarette ends I’ve had no complaints from the previous nights guests or present occupants. A full refund was given , didn’t want a second night of this !! Would not recommend to any one !

Birthday break

We booked this property for my wifes birthday break and really enjoyed it. 5 mins from Yarm town and only a short drive to Staithes and Whitby make it a good base to travel from. Quirky layout, basic yet functional makes it a stay with a difference. Easy check in and Angie is a very freindly and helpful host
