The pictures of the apartment were accurate and the kitchen has pots/pans, utensils, etc. However, we were told that getting access to wifi would be an additional 25 euros. Also, the parking lot of the building is not very large, so the first night we had to park outside, which after checking the city parking rules was OK since there is no parking fee from 5pm to 9am (at the time that we stayed). We were two people staying two nights and we were provided one small plastic sachet of gel for showering and one of shampoo, which was quite limited. There was also a small sachet of soap for washing the dishes. Finally, we tried to toast some bread and the breaker for the unit tripped when we turned the toaster on. I assume that is taken care of now.
Our party consisted of myself and my two sons (both in their 40’s). We found the apartment to be clean and tidy. It is small and compact but very functional. It is typically Spanish with large heavy dark wood furniture, a nice little lounge and an extra dining area has been created on the balcony. There is a small bathroom with a nice shower, and a fully functional kitchen. The sliding glass doors on the balcony are easy to operate to allow for the flow of air. The apartment also boasts a single air conditioning unit in the lounge with the condensed water it creates dripping into a bowl in the balcony area. This needs to be emptied every day or it will overflow. The apartment block is perfectly situated just behind the Madiera Hotel near the end of the Mediterrana and so is a 5 minute walk to the beach and the Old Town.Opposite is a lovely street containing about a dozen bars and restaurants, and continuing along this street for about 10 minutes leads you straight into the heart of the main strip of Benidorm.The immediate area around the block is nice and quiet and we would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.
