Mountain Views - Canmore Luxury Condo at Solara Resort

This 1000 sq ft condo is perfectly situated in the beautiful mountain town of Canmore. 20 minute walk from the trendy main street restaurants and shops, and less than 10 minute drive to Banff National Park. The mountain views from our unit are stunning, and can be enjoyed from the living room, 2nd bedroom and the patio. Our retreat is on the second floor, situated over a beautifully landscaped courtyard, with windows that let in lots of natural light. I also have lots of my photography from the nearby mountains displayed on the walls (not shown yet in our listing photos).

Located in a privately owned unit in the condominium complex that contains Solara Resort. A resort-style complex which is one of the most premiere accommodations in Canmore. This condo is privately owned and managed; it is not operated by the hotel manager. Enjoy the large hot tub, swimming pool, well equipped fitness centre, kids play room, and the luxurious One Wellness Spa. There is underground heated parking for one vehicle and free street parking nearby.

High end furniture and appliances, wine fridge, cork floors, stone counter tops. We have all the cookware and dishes that you need to enjoy your own meals. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other a queen. There's also a comfy queen sofa bed in the living room. Unwind with televisions in the living room and the king bedroom with cable package and ability to sign into your netflix account. Washer and Dryer in the unit. The entire unit is available for your use except for locked storage where we keep some of our personal belongings.

Our condo has free Wi-Fi that can be accessed throughout the resort.

Excellent place for a family

Loved this place we stayed at for a week- deck was perfect for summer evenings and drying clothes, bathrooms lovely, beds comfy- even the sofa bed. Kitchen well set up for self -catering- though could benefit from a few more bowls/spoons. Access to solara hot tub and pool was a bonus but weather was hot so didn’t use it much. Canmore was a great place to explore - so glad we decided to stay here and not Banff- we loved the cafes, relaxed street vibe and galleries in Canmore surrounded by the Rockies.

The condo is well appointed and spacious. The beds are comfortable. When the sofa bed was made up, we found popcorn kernels. Yuck. However, there are plenty of linens and we were able to remake ourselves.

These hosts are great!

We had a great stay. To be honest, Sunterra can be hit or miss, depending on the host because some suites are run down, poorly kept and not well-stocked. Plus, if you happen to be above the garage, you'll be cold and noisy! However, these hosts have kept the place up, there is no noisy garage and there were ample dishes, towels and garbage bags. They even made their own book of instructions for all you need for your stay! Nice job!

This condo is the perfect home base for us to go hiking, skiing, snowboarding, biking, canoeing, snowshoeing, climbing or any number of other outdoor adventures that we do year-round; all while keeping us right in the heart of the vibrant community of Canmore and 25 minutes from the town of Banff. We are very fortunate to live in such an amazing part of the world, and love that we can share our little piece of paradise with anyone else who wants to partake in all the joys of the Rocky Mountains.
