Excellent séjour sur une île de l’Aude

Lieu magique pour une, deux ou trois familles ou entre amis: une grande maison au milieu d’un parc arboré et paisible, sur une île entre deux bras de l’Aude, avec piscine, ping-pong, volley etc L’accueil est chaleureux et de qualité. La région est pleine de ressources entre Pyrénées, rivières, lacs, forêts et châteaux cathares.

Beautiful island, high potential houses

The garden, the terrasse and the garden chalet have everything one might hope for. An island in the river where we felt safe and free to enjoy nature, the river, the pool. The whole region is amazing: Signal du Chioula, l'Etang du Laurenti, Camon, Collioure, les Orgues d'Ille-sur-Têt, Mirepoix, Carcassonne... the local markets with tasty products and a happy hippy feeling. The 2 connected houses have a lot of potential, with lots of rooms, beautiful ancient furniture (just some chairs and armchairs in need of repairing), comfortable beds, The owners gradually invest in renovating the family inherited property, to bring it back to the state of its glory days. The only downside was that before our arrival there was no time for a proper cleaning, but I hope that does not happen often. Very kind owners and caretakers.

Un lieu magique, comme dans les contes

Propriété si bien protégée par ses grands arbres et la rivière qu'on se croit seul au monde. Lieu vraiment ressourçant. Et pourtant aux portes de la ville pour toutes les commodités et proche de sites touristiques à foison.

Excellent séjour au calme et au vert

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans cette demeure - domaine devrais-je dire, vu l’immensité du lieu - au cachet indéniable. L’extérieur est exceptionnel, et l’emplacement nous a permis de découvrir cette région magnifique aux multiples activités - radonnée, canoë, rafting, lacs, chateaux cathares, vignobles.... Un excellent séjour au calme et au vert !
