About this property

This lovely 3-bedroom is located on the 10th floor of Sonoran Sky Resort and has breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez and the magnificent sunsets. First of all, there is a secure Internet and a free phone for US calls. The living room has a tan 2 piece sofa and coffee table. The floor is tile; however, there is a beautiful blue rug in the living room area. A flat-screen TV, and a DVD player in the living room. The dining area seats 8 guests. The kitchen is incredible, with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops with breakfast bar and three bar stools. The oven and microwave are built-in and the stove is an electric smoked glass cooktop. There is plenty of storage in the kitchen and the cabinets are beautiful dark wood. Everything you need to be the “chef” is in this kitchen. The master bedroom bed is king size it has his own bathroom with a tub and a flat-screen TV with cable on wall. The second bedroom has a king-size bed with a privet bathroom, there is a flat TV on the wall. 3rd bedroom sleeps 4 with two sets of twin bunk beds and a full bath in hall. Comes with Private secure high-speed internet. The most impressive feature of this suite is, of course, the incredible terrace, beautiful bar height round patio table with 6 chairs and two lounge chairs for sunning. Here you will find the most amazing views of not only the Sea of Cortez but also the beautiful Rocky Point sunsets. As you look down over the terrace you can see the beautiful pools, palapas and of course Sandy Beach. Make this your retreat from the hustle and bustle north of the border. Enjoy a margarita on the beach and relax. See you soon
NOTE: The balcony BBQ do not work, there is a designated area on the 3rd floor for the use of charcoal grills and playground for small children. (Charcoal is not included, for sale at convenience store).

Can't wait to come back!

Sonoran Sky was amazing. The property is very clean, safe and literally right on the beach. Multiple pools, swim-up bar, water slide and beach activities made this the perfect stay for our family, including two little kids (5, 2) who absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. Our room had ocean views as far as the eye can see and the three bedroom condo was perfect for the seven of us. Some of the reviews weren't the best for Casago but we had ZERO issues and were even able to check in early. The staff at the Sonoran Sky are super friendly and we cannot wait to come back again. Hope this honest review changes your mind and hesitancy about visiting Rocky Point or this property. Advice: Bring beach towels, and try the carnitas to-go from Carnitas Puro Michoacan (less than 10 min drive), 300 pesos to feed the entire family, and it has everything you need to enjoy a meal in the room.

Sanoran sky 1009

The condo was very nice except for the hard mattress’s and the worn out front room furniture which looked great but was very uncomfortable to say the least! The dining room table and chairs and the outdoor furniture were both wonderful. We were expecting more than 5 TV channels but got by with the amazing views!

Great place for 8

The layout is great for two families. There are two master suites and a 3rd room with bunks for four. The kids loved the pool and water slide and access to the beach was easy. It could be better stocked with beach items like towels, chairs, umbrella and kitchen things like coffee filters. We booked Sonoran Sky and meant to book Sonoran Sun. Totally my fault - just something to pay attention to if you are planning a trip with multiple families and want to be at the same resort. During busy times the resorts are incredibly strict about wristbands so you aren't able to visit friends at other resorts if you do make the same mistake I did.

Great beach getaway

We had a great time at Sonoran Sky. The condo was clean and had enough space for us all. The check in process was smooth, however if you are traveling with another group you should ensure that the first person who will be arriving is the person who makes the reservation. They will not allow you to change the name on the reservation without a lot of steps The condo was comfortable. The patio is huge and is a great place to sit and read a book and enjoy the ocean breeze. The property was well taken care of and we felt safe during our stay. The staff at the front desk and the restaurants/bars were very nice and friendly. We were a little surprised that they did not have beach towels to use at the pool or beach, and the bathroom towels were limited, but there is a washer and dryer so we could wash them if needed. They also did not provide any toiletries in the bathroom besides hand soap. I would recommend bringing your own beach towels and shampoo/conditioner with you when you visit and your stay will be A+! Would definitely recommend
