Las Palomas is one of my favorite places to stay in Rocky Pointe. The views are beautiful and the rooms are well kept. There is something to do for everyone. You can have a good time regardless if you are there with family or loved one.

The condo was beautiful. We just didn’t know that the lazy river was under construction. Right on the beach, the location was great.

Over all a great vacation would stay there again. Few things to note:AC vents drip in the condo so floor is damp and sticky a lot, check-in was confusing Vrbo instructions told us how to get to an orange 2 story building. The rental agency then sent their own inspections to a different location (link did not work) went to orange building was told it was wrong back to backtrack about 10 min to other place and they do ask for a credit card for check in. There is no map provided to find unit and parking so that was interesting. Staff at the resort were not overly friendly. And beach’s nd pool access from our building was closed for construction so we have to walk longer route. But despite these minor inconvenience there were a lot of great things. Pool was clean, beach was great are able to use beach chairs and umbrellas provided by the resort which was great, kitchen had what we needed to cook breakfast and lunch, we would definitely go back I think just a learning curve when you first stay! We were also able to do early check in which was great! If you are going to spend most of the time on the beach and the pool I would totally recommend this location!

The room at face value looks good, but then we slowly started noticing things as the days went on. Like, the curtains are ripped from the tracks by the balcony so we could not open them. The dishwasher isn’t bolted in correctly so it’s hard to open and close. The washer did not work. The ice maker doesn’t work. Casago never restocked anything or made beds, not once, even when we called and asked. There’s nails where art used to be on the walls. The patio furniture is missing cushions and some chairs are ripped. Locks don’t work on sliding glass doors, a huge safety issue with kids. I think this unit isn’t the worst by any means but it’s in desperate need of maintenance and a property management company that actually does their job. You can’t expect people to come to a “diamond” resort paying 250 a night and have to go buy trash bags. We’ll be staying elsewhere moving forward.
