Cosy gîte in the heart of the Vosges mountains, calm and nature, lakes nearby.

On Abbey Road, between the Vosges and Alsace, in the heart of the massif, you will stay in the small village of Menil Senones in a terraced house with two bedrooms upstairs, one with 140x190 bed and the other with a trundle bed (two beds 90x190) and a wardrobe. A final sleeping area with sofa bed 140x190 is available.

On the ground floor the kitchen (microwave, oven, fridge freezer, app. Fondue / Raclette ...) is independent. Dining room and adjoining living room with sofas, TV and fireplace hearth. Bathroom with a shower, toilet and washing machine. Terrace with garden furniture and closed room for bicycles, skis. Wireless;

Elegant peace

Elegant decor and fresh flowers on arrival made our arrival very special. This is the best presented property we have ever been lucky enough to find. Comfortable furniture and spacious rooms. Good outdoor furniture for a summer evening. Menil is a classic French agricultural village on a hilltop setting. Peaceful and calm but close to plenty of walking trails and historic settings. The house, the place, and the wonderful hosts are highly recommended.

Perfekte Entspannung

Wir waren vor ein paar Jahren schon einmal da, seitdem ist alles renoviert worden und noch schöner und komfortabler geworden. Gleich geblieben ist die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft von Monsieur Prevost und natürlich die herrliche Lage mitten in den Vogesen. Lange Spaziergänge mit den Hunden, abends Kochen und den Tag am Kamin ausklingen lassen. So wird auch aus einem Kurztrip ein erholsamer Urlaub. Wir freuen uns schon aufs nächste Mal!

Week-end très agréable en famille

Le gite se situe dans un petit village très calme à quelques minutes de Senones. Il n'y a pas de commerces mais Senones possède tout ce qu'il faut. Le gite est largement assez spacieux pour 5 personnes (2 adultes et 3 enfants). Il y a trois chambres, une grande cuisine avec suffisamment de vaisselle et d’ustensiles de cuisine. Lors de notre arrivée et de notre départ, le propriétaire très sympathique était présent et nous avons pu échanger avec lui sur le gite, les règles et sur les activités dans les environs. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement.

Der Vermieter ist ein sehr hilfsbereiter und netter Mensch. Das Objekt selbst war sehr sauber und aufgeräumt. Die Beschreiben entspricht zu 100% der Wahrheit. Die Gegend ist für ausgedehnte Spaziergänge optimal. Die Menschen waren alle sehr nett und entspannt. Der perfekte Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen und sich vom Alltagsstress zu erholen.

Mit einen Steinbruch und ca 100 Sprengungen in2km Entfernung habe ich nicht gerechnet

Am späten Nachmittag hat man dann Ruhe. Gastgeber voll in Ordnung, das Haus auch. Nur für sportliche Feriengäste Empfehlenswert.
